We had a fantastic time at Granary Square Brasserie, especially thanks to Mario, who took such great care of us. He was attentive to the quality of every dish we ordered and made the experience seamless by answering all our questions with ease. On top of that, he was hilarious to chat with, adding an extra spark to our evening. Big shout-out to him!

Hands down my favourite spot in London, gutted its closed now! Would always chose the kitchen bar seat so you can watch the chefs at work, get the odd taster direct from the kitchen. Great food, great service, will be keeping an eye out for Pips next adventure in London.

Great vinyl bar in really cool area of Kings Cross. The sound system is top flight and DJ spinning some incredible 70s funk and Latin Caribbean beats. DJ came over several times to show me the albums and chat. Great find if you are true audiophile

The food was very good. Slow cooked lamb shoulder was delicious and tender. For mushroom risotto I liked it but I wish it had some more flavourful mushrooms in it. For the price, it felt cheaper mushrooms overpowered the dish and made it quite bland. The friend I went with was celiac and unfortunately the waitress wasn’t sure which dishes were GF and which ones weren’t. Thankfully the menu indicated the food which was not GF (the ones that were GF were left blank). This confused us about the desserts as it looked all desserts were GF using the same logic; however it wasn’t the case. Waitress didn’t know it either and first said a dish was GF then said it wasn’t. Unfortunately we had to cancel our dessert order. Other than that it was lovely, I’d visit again.
