Our first time coming here despite living really close by. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by a lovely chap at the bar, who had a smile and was attentive to our drinks order. We sat down with our menu's and our 2 small dogs who got fussed by a lovely girl called Jo. Who stopped for a chat and brought them out some much appreciated beef. What a lovely gesture. We ordered cod and chips each and asked for the skin to be removed. Nothing was too much trouble and it came out piping hot and delicious. We didn't need to ask for anything. They attended to our every need but also gave us the space that you want. Perfect lunch at a very reasonable cost. I look forward to returning soon x
