The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

In the area one day with work, and was in the need for a coffee and something to eat, and looking online for places close by, Prego came up. At first glance nothing more than just a cabin on the platform at Milngavie Train Station, but a truly great place! Plenty of options on their menu, and ordered a morning roll and coffee to go. Prices are excellent, and what I ordered was really tasty. If in area again, will most certainly be back again.

Lovely Coffee shop,Really friendly atmosphere with a great selection of food and tatsy cakes on offer.I visit here often, It's not only a friendly comfortable,clean place to sit in, Gillian the owner has a wide range of delicious fresh homemade food and cakes to suit many dietary requirements. Not too often you see places where the team all have set jobs but it's good to see. i.e. the person making food isn't touching money or the person touching raw food isn't touching the sandwiches/fillings, it's all very much different stations and is nice and clean. The food is really good and it's well priced for its quality. Only small issue (just for the sake that management can improve on it) is sometimes the waiting period. I've waited a long time for two panini before. Maybe because sit ins were prioritised, not 100% sure. I'd wait again though because it is very good but having worked in a restaurant I know that it's not really justified.

Our daughter's purchased an afternoon tea delivery today for us,and it was excellent,the food was fresh with a mixture of mini pie,wraps ,rolls ,quiche ,side salad and delicious pastries.The food was excellent. It's been a while since I've managed to pay a visit to the resturant ,and with the present lockdown due to coviid 19, I thought it would be even longer but this delivery was a pleasant surprise ,and I will back visiting as with my wife and granddaughter Emma who loves lo cal kitchen as soon as their able to open again after the lockdown .

Visited for breakfast, lovely place nice staff seated quickly and ordered, I ordered a breakfast roll and toast and had specifically asked for my sausages to be well done, The gentleman taking the order did write this down however when my order came out the sausages were clearly not well done, my toast had been missed from my order but on highlighting this toast arrived, I have to say the toast was white as was my partner’s. Its a shame to have to highlight these small things but its things like this that matter to me when I am eating out.

My girlfriend found interest in me there hihih. Delicious food, big portion,couldnt eat all :D , affordable prices.

We stopped off here after seeing excellent reviews online and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We both had a coffee with a lemon curd and cream scone. We’ve been craving another since having it and would highly recommend this place if not for the scone but also the views and very friendly staff

As my daughter was performing at the local theatre, we decided to drop in for dinner. The staff were lovely and offered us a table in the back part, which was much quieter. Food was of decent quality and was very reasonable priced. Overall was as expected.

The breakfast is awesome and made with love. It was the best breakfast of our whole stay in Scotland. Great!

I called in as a stop on my way back to Fort William. I had a freshly made bacon roll, coffee and a home made sponge. All very tasty. I also visited the heritage room next door which was very interesting and informative. I can highly recommend this place. a change from the usual commercial places.

Heel druk. Eten van redelijke kwaliteit. Het duurde enige tijd voordat het bestelde eten werd geserveerd. Je moest het eerst in een lange rij bij de balie bestellen.

This is the first place I head to every time I get to Rothesay. The best coffee on the island - no competition. Plus an incredible salted hot chocolate (I buy bags of the stuff to take back to London), plus amazing pastries and excellent soup for lunch. And Mhairi and her team are always good for a natter and to bring you up to speed on the island gossip and recent celebrity sightings. I also rarely leave without a new pair of earrings thanks to the Bonnie Bling range they stock.

Excellent Cafe Highly recommended. Great menu fantastic staff. Really well run right in the center of Stornoway.

We dropped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and keen to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The food was delivered reasonably quickly and was fresh, hot, and tasty. I also had a friendly chat with the gent when paying the bill, and he told me how I could get in touch with Jimmy Buchan, one of my heroes. This was really appreciated as I met up with Jimmy, which was fantastic. .....thanks heaps.
