Went there with a pal last night and had a great night. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. The atmosphere was buzzing and they let you bring in food so folk with beers and pakora and kebabs. Can’t wait until I can go back and try some more of the strange sounding IPAs 🍻

Looked for dog friendly place near to rouken Glen park. Seen this place as we were drive and off the booze, first time here and was amazing, warm welcomes, wood burning fire and spot on for Sunday vibes. We went for seafood platter , onion rings and chicken dippers, daughter had pizza on kids menu all amazing fresh and tasty 😋 We defo be back, must visit, car park at rear of pub 10 spots I think. Very clean throughout pub and well decorated as well.

Have been meeting my friends in here every few months for a catch up. We like to go on a Friday as it’s ’fizz Friday’ which is half price Prosecco. We also have food but I just feel the last twice we have been it is not value for money for the meal. I had salmon with king prawn new potatoes and veg which was over £17. The prawns were tiny and shrivelled up, and it was the same the last time and there was hardly any veg on the plate. Very disappointing for the price. Couldn’t be bothered complaining as I had the last time and obviously they have not taken onboard my complaint. If I go again I will definitely not be having the salmon.

We had a chance to have lunch at the Rock & Spindle during a recent visit to St Andres. The restaurant is located on the Castle Course, which I was told was the most difficult golf course to play in the area. The restaurant sits on the 9th and 18th fairways, directly on the North Sea. Spectacular views. There is a gift shop attached. The food and service were okay, nothing to rave about, but a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery. We tried the Haggis Balls with whiskey sauce. Crossed it off the bucket list and moved on.
