Great Sunday Lunch. All cooked incredibly well. Plenty of fresh veg. Tender beef with good flavour. Great service. The staff reserved our favourite table. Nice decor with candles and lamps. Dog friendly.

We went to the restaurant last night as our first night in the area, it was a recommendation from where we are staying. The service was absolutely appalling, the staff were rude and disinterested in actually providing any type of service We were met with disdain and ignorance. We were forgotten about several times, with the staff more interested in speaking with another member of staff who was eating in the restaurant. I ordered sirloin steak medium rare which when arrived wasn’t sirloin and was cooked well done. The website proclaims that you will be greeted with a warm welcome….. the staff were put out we were there and couldn’t care less about any standard of service. I would avoid at all costs, the staff are rude and the food is substandard for the price they charge.

12 of us went for a meal on Sunday 29 Dec and the food and service were amazing! Every meal was cooked to perfection and our waitress was so friendly. Well done all and Happy New Year!

My friends and I visited on a Sunday afternoon from out of town at a local’s recommendation. I loved the atmosphere - lots of plants, lots of seating. There weren’t many customers, so it wasn’t loud. We were hoping for afternoon tea, but sadly it is not available on Sundays. Some of us got the Sunday Roasts instead. More in our party (of 10) would have liked to try the Sunday Roast, but they only sold it to some of us due to limited staff & presumably limited ingredients. The rest ordered sandwiches. I’m sorry to say I was not impressed with the starter or main course (the meat, potatoes and vegetables were a bit dry), but I did enjoy the crème brûlée for dessert. Afterward, we visited a gin distillery around the corner. They allowed us samples, and I was impressed with the flavor and smoothness.
