Been here a couple of times before and have drove out of our way to go. We both had lasagne as it has been amazing before and probably the best weve probably ever had. However, last night was disappointing, the lasagne had no meat in it, I didn’t eat much of it, the chips were fries and were over cooked. Not what it normally is like. Very disappointing this time and unfortunately won’t be returning.

Went to the Hare and Hounds for my wife's 60th birthday dinner. From the moment I started organising the meal right up until we all left, I could not have wished for it to go any better. The food was amazing and the menu is big enough for all to enjoy. The staff were wonderful and made the evening that little bit more special. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone. We will be back, that is for certain.

We booked for Sunday lunch and it was so worth it. Huge portions of meat, lovely big yorkshire pudding and tonnes of veg. We added the cauliflower cheese which was excellent. The service was great and the beer was well kept too. Absolutely 10/10

Such a beautiful and welcoming pub. Visited this pub with my girlfriend as part of a trip down memory lane. Firstly and as a stand-alone observation - the food was so nice and the ambience perfect. The staff were really attentive. But what made it so special was the genuine reaction from the owners/ management when I told them my connection to one of their previous regulars - my uncle Nigel. I was in the pub as a “cheers” to him after 20 years overseas and sadly not being around for his wake nearly a decade ago held in his favourite pub. My day could not have been made more by the stories of his times there and the heartfelt thoughts of his patronage of their pub. Thank you so much guys. I/ we will be back in Sway more regularly and can guarantee that you will be our first port of call. Brilliant. Exactly how a pub should be.

Visited here twice in one month. Came for a Sunday roast, absolutely brilliant. Very tasty. Had so much selection for vegetables. Came here second time and had a delicious smoked salmon with water cress sauce and mash. Fantastic!! The food quality is excellent. The puddings are great too! Belgium waffle with chocolate sauce and ice cream. Lovely! All staff are very friendly and welcoming. A nice cosy pub. One thing. I didn't like when the table behind us clicked there fingers at the waiter this was very rude!! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Cheerful and efficient service, well cooked locally sourced food. Menu typical pub grub, but quality of ingredients a cut above. Well worth the visit. Have eaten there a couple of times for lunch recently.

I highly recommend this pub! Lucy and her team (Amy & Jess) are very welcoming and create a go to atmosphere with locals and first time visitors alike. Dog friendly, Pool, Darts & Jukebox, what more could one want! Clean tasting draught lager/beer (unlike other pubs in the area)

Super little cafe with utterly delicious baked breads, pastries and buns. The sourdough loaves on their rustic shelves look & smell wonderful! Enjoyed a perfectly brewed coffee from their own roastery and a vanilla cream bun which was heavenly. The staff were so happy and friendly, I have to mention them all so thank you Harriet, Charlotte & Izzy - what a lovely little place!

Family friendly pub apparently but when our baby cried we were made too move too a closed off room at the back of the pub so we didn’t disturb anyone! Extremely rude when the waitress grabbed our pram and started moving us without even giving us a chance. Won’t be coming back and I suggest anyone else with young children doesn’t go either. Disgusting
