Had afternoon tea here recently. Couldn't fault the selection, was delicious and very filling . Staff very friendly . Would certainly not hesitate to go back.

We paid £250.00 per night. The bathroom had no shampoo and we had to force open the cheap conditioner. Dinner was disappointing, my Welsh rarebit was raw and had to be sent back. The lamb was delicious but the Sheppard's pie was dry with no gravy. The fish cakes and truffle fries were devine. Overall pleasant but not anywhere near worth the price

Arrived tonight wanting a nice pub meal only to be told the kitchen was closed. Despite their website stating food was served from 6pm. How hard is it to put something on your own website to let potential customers know? Wasted journey.

What a wonderful welcome we got from Nancy when we went for lunch at the Lamb. She was so friendly and welcoming. She had lit both the fires and it was cozy, absolutely beautiful lunch cooked by the new chef. A wonderful experience - we will be back.
