I find myself always having to qualify when I tell people how good this place is for a curry, with the "I know it's a pub but...". I shouldn't have to do that, because the Birchwood Spice outright is a genuinely quality curry. I've paid double (genuinely) and had far worse - in fact haven't had many better anywhere near this price. Finally this pub works - the pub is a pleasant place to be with a good atmosphere, lively pub quiz and the food is great. Long live the pub, but that future must always involve the Birchwood Spice!

Waited 20 minutes to get a caramel macchiato, then when I got it it had no syrup in it or cream on the top. I would have returned it but I was on the motorway before I tried it. Totally disappointed and it was more expensive than other Starbucks. Complete con The team were very polite but if they can’t make a coffee then they should work else where
