The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Hale Barns Trafford North West

Ordered vanilla cupcakes. There were some chocolate ones which I did not ask for. They looked very pretty but they did not taste nice at all. The sponge was not at all tasty and was very dry. The butter cream type topping didn't taste like butter cream (which is what I was told it would be) and was sickeningly sweet...even the children disliked them. I would say the quality of supermarket cakes far exceeds those purchased from Zahra Cakes. Was not going to post a review but had I seen a review like this I would have thought twice about purchasing cupcakes from here. I would definitely not purchase them again...

Served breakfast which was beautiful. Staff were very nice and the restaurant area was spotless. Reasonable prices. Tea and coffee nice and hot. We then did shopping. Fab cheese counter. Spoke to Carol who recommended some fab cheeses.

We booked a table for Mother’s Day afternoon tea at the garden centre for 7 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Manager also came and spoke to us to explain the new Tea. The kids afternoon tea was also wolfed down by the children. Food was lovely and plenty of it. They can provide boxes if you don’t finish it. Would definitely attend again.

Basically terrible service, again….didn’t learn from first visit last year….didn’t think it could be worse…how wrong I was….the queuing is terrible….rather than asking for drinks orders as you queue, this happens at point of sale….hence 3 of 4 groups waiting for their coffees after paying. The queuing is incredibly slow, xxx I’d queued till it was my order….’sorry they aren’t taking soup/meal order till 11:30’ disappointed I decided to go else where…only to find it was 11:28 when I’d ordered…I had to return 2 mins later to re-queue to order!!!! BTW the woman serving coffees, uses a dish cloth to wipe the surfaces then immediately picks up the cups with the same same fingers grabbing inside the ‘clean’ cups…and the manager does this too… not great!!!
