Quite a large historic building with pleasant friendly staff and quick table service. Nearby 3 hours of free parking at Sainsburys multi story carpark.

Really disappointing dinner. Starters at best mediocre and uninspired, presentation and dressing off point . Steak overcooked to the point of being grey and as tough as old boots, chips under seasoned. The one star is for the fact that waiting staff are pleasant. We are staying in the hotel, and had been looking forward to what sounded a promising menu. In reality, the meal was very poor- especially for a restaurant in a hotel of this calibre (and price category).
