A reasonably priced cosy local and nearest pub to the station. Good food, good drinks. Doesn’t show football but nice outside space at the front

We visited on Sunday, having late lunch with my brother for his birthday. Well it turned out to be one of the best Roast dinners around. My brother and husband had Tapas it was all very yummy - staff were lovely and efficient. Coming back next week Thank you!!

Not family friendly 3 Very poor menu for a family venue. No child friendly options. Limited sandwiches with description on menu misleading. For example ‘tomato and mozzarella’ was not tomatoes but a tomato purée, and two of three sandwiches had bread with pesto soaked in. Fine fir this to be the sandwich called a Pesto sandwich but a surprise to find an equal amount in the Sicilian sandwich. Freshly prepared did not mean prepared on premises to order as it implies, but apparently made elsewhere by the caterers and brought in. Prices OK but service poor - staff friendly but complete confusion over drinks order

Visted yesterday and found the cafe very overpriced - £5.95 for a sausage roll that literally dripped fat all over the table - you can get half a dozen much nicer ones at Greggs for that 😂 Chocolate cake looked good but at £5.25 a slice we gave it a miss, likewise £11.50 for a baked potato with sausage and onions. My latte didn't appear to have much milk in it (clue should be in the name) and the service wasn't particularly friendly either. Dirty crockery was piling up and not being cleared - I'm guessing they were short of staff. Hampton Court Palace is one of my absolute favourite places but this little cafe really needs some TLC.
