What a delightful little cafe! We visited after seeing the museum. The choice was great and interesting, the portions were really generous and the food was very tasty- please say thank you to the chef! They had a great kids menu including jacket potato’s (which my 7 year old said was the best potato he had ever had). A very child friendly basket of various biscuits next to the till for pudding too- sometimes we find the only sweet offering in other places is a huge slice of cake which is too much for a child after a decent lunch (cake is available though!). The toasted sandwiches were absolutely delicious and came with really lovely accompaniments. Also a great cup of tea!! Very reasonably priced too. It was a lovely way to wrap up our visit. We will be back!

This Costa didn't know what a black forrest frappe was, despite it being on their app to order, also still can't do an iced cappuccino, I only went back in there to use vouchers , staff friendly but clueless, please train your staff better,

Really enjoyed our time here. Specialty is Indian thali. Live music on in the evenings on some nights. Biker meet on Saturdays. Should be busier, the Indian food is exceptional. Great Harvey's too.

Hello I am an old man and I went into this cafe for a cream latte and a biscuit. Initially the service was very friendly and I chatted with the young lady behind the counter about the weather. However, when I tried to order my cream latte and a biscuit the man working on the coffee machine kept steaming milk just as I was ordering, so the lady couldn't hear me. By the third attempt I was so frustrated that I called out to him to please stop as I was trying to order my cream latte and a biscuit. He looked at me like he didn't even know what a cream latte was and that the biscuits were complimentary so I didn't need to ask for one. I collected myself for a moment, considering the menu before trying to complete my order once again. This time the man started banging the milk jug on the counter, I could tell from the angle that this was what he was doing, even though it sounded like something else. I screamed my order to be heard above the Don and the previously polite young lady said that I had to leave because of all the shouting. Needless to say I won't be coming back and I'm glad it's now closed.
