A fantastic, friendly country pub. A very warm welcome and traditional. Outstanding food and well cared for real ale. Publicans obviously know their stuff. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed home cooked food with fabulous service in front of a warm log fire. Our round table was a good size. My loin of venison was delicious and the pinot noir wine was a good quality for the price. We particularly appreciated the friendly staff who made booking easy and accommodated all our requests.
