This company had a stall selling coffee and pastries at Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. They took the payment and then I realised there was a 20 minute wait for two coffees and a pastry which cost over £12 and the coffee was horrible. Muddy, weak and tasteless. I asked them to redo it, which one of the guys did, however, it was still weak and tasteless even with half the water. I was told to wait to complain to the manager but when he eventually came he was rude and refused to give me a refund. Other people in the queue were also unhappy and someone else brought their drink back as well. I said I would post a review and he said he didn’t care as he had sold thousands of coffees. Terrible service and coffee and the manager is arrogant. Avoid this company if you can

I get inordinately excited when I arrive at the Co-op to find the ridiculous revolving door out of action, or the fire door sneakily open. Otherwise, a rather magnificent store for little Rutland, with a good range of products and excellent staff and service.

Came in around 3 o’clock, asked the girl behind the bar if it was okay to sit and have a drink. She said yes and sit anywhere just not where the tables are set( which is fine) 5 mins later my partner said he would need some food, maybe bar snacks or lunch. I went back to the girl behind the till and asked if it was okay to have some food, I saw there was some sandwiches on the lunch menu. She said no, we’re not serving any food anymore. I was a bit confused as it was only 3 and I’d just heard someone order from the “lunch menu” in the same area as us. There was tables laid and no one on them, so I could see that it was mostly empty just incase she was saying no because she was busy? I tried to ask her if we could have some bar snacks, or some bread, but she spoke over me and in such a patronising way. I’ve worked in hospitality and in retail and I know customers can be hard work so I always try to be extra kind and respectful to staff. I left feeling disappointed. We went elsewhere in the end.
