Well why not?! Had to come to this side of London because my Sons wanted football shirts (of course). One of them spent hours wandering around the shop which usually I would have grumbled at. But this shop has a bar and the football on the telly. So Daddy was happy to stay a while.

Went here april 3rd with my 2 sons for a carvery, the jalapeño savoury donuts were gorgeous, just think the garnish with em could have been better rather than just iceberg lettuce, the price of the drinks we had extremely reasonable, had 2 carverys and a go large carvery, yes in the hospitality business you can't please everybody all the time, the gammon was lovely, the mash potato was very good, the carrots for me could have been cooked just a little more, didn't go much on the peas, the cauliflower cheese had a good colour to it but again for me the taste of the cheese could have been stronger, and the roast potatoes had good colour to em but I like em bit crispy, yes it seems like I wasn't happy but overall it wasn't that bad in this restaurant but I do think the young lady that served us should have worn a proper uniform rather than her own clothes it would have looked so much better to the general public, would i go again yes i would but I'd try something different to eat other than the carvery.

Chose this delightful café at 12:30 as we were hungry and saw they had a small table spare - the rest of Cleethorpes eateries were full at this prime time for eating . The location is excellent on the front of the promenade , close to bus stops and the train station . The table was clean and the café looked as it had a recent refresh into a modern contemporary look . They also had tables outside supported by a takeaway external window . The menu is small and covers breakfast , brunch / lunch to kids meals . We both chose a tuna + cheese melt panini along with a pot of tea which was presented with salad and was hot and very tasty - you can see your food being freshly made by the cook . We thanked him as we left today for the lovely food and its value . The staff were all presented well in uniforms and courteous . Keep up the good work here guys , we will be back .

One of the few places in Durham that serves actual bubble tea made with real fruit and fruit juice rather than using sugary syrups. Always has a delicious set of drinks and is the sister shop to the one in Newcastle. Only important thing to note is that it is CASH ONLY for payments under 10 pounds. If you know the lady well she can sometimes let you off but it is important to remember if just buying a drink for yourself. They are also quite pricey - though personally the genuine fruit makes it worth it as a treat!

I briefly popped into Waterfields today and I was very pleasantly surprised at the selection. The cakes and snacks were extensively stocked behind the counter and were very reasonably priced at under £2 each. I bought a cupcake with vanilla cream on top which was delicious! The staff serving were friendly, polite and efficient. You can also sit in to eat, if you wish. The only issue was that the loaves of bread/toasties were running out, then again it was 3pm so this was understandable. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit!

Pub newly taken over, in a settling down phase. Friendly welcome, reasonable choice of menu. All dishes not always available.

Step back in time. Massive place, Friendly multi tasking barman & customers. Good food & good value. Quiet even on a Saturday night but glad we found it. So full we skipped breakfast next day!

Lovely little cafe within the Bulldog Forge. Great quality food, excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Eat in or take away. Staff are very pleasant and prices very reasonable. Had a good coffee and a very nice cheese on toast with bacon. Worth a visit if visiting the antique shops

We were drawn in by the tasty sounding menu outside and ended up ordering two classic jacket potatoes with very delicious Welsh Cheese. There are limited seating so at busier times you may need to take out, but we had a nice table by the window. The room was decorated ready for Halloween which was great to see. The two servers were friendly and helpful. If we are in the area again, we will come and say hi 👋- and probably have another jacket potato.

A great plate full for the money, choose your own breakfast for 75p per item or stick to the set plates. Whatever you choose you shouldn't be disappointed. Food was all cooked fresh so there was a bit of a wait but it was piping hot when it did turn up. Two breakfasts a Mug of coffee and a hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallow) came to just over £15. Very friendly staff with a liking for country and western on the Alexa, but who doesn't like a bit of Johnny Cash. We will definitely be back. Oh and at last a cafe that does black pudding, the only thing missing from the menu is bubble and squeak, but you can't have everything.
