The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Guildhall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Its a gem in the center of York near the most tourist attractions. The staff and the owner Resit is are extremely friendly and professional. The beyti kebab was a treat made me feel like i was in a restaurant in Turkiye . It was served with homemade chili sauce , fresh salad and pide bread it was absolutely delicious and very well presented . The restaurants is very clean and had a great atmosphere. Don’t forget to try baklava and Turkish tea after your main course.

Amaizing food! Incredible service and ambience. You have to try the kunafa desert

We came for lunch, we ordered mixed grill and chicken gyros. Service was really nice. The portions were large but we were not impressed with the quality of food. Gyros was cool, pork souvlaki was fatty and the saussage and pork could have done with more grilling time. Wine was expensive. The restaurant was cold. We do not recommend.

Fabulous meal at a lovely restaurant. The patatas bravas in particular were superb. Our waitress, Bri, was so helpful and attentive. I can't eat citrus, Bri helped me choose dishes that were suitable for me. Where there was lemon in sauces, she arranged for these to be served separately so that I could share all the dishes. Great food and value. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Food intolerence catered for perfectly. Fish gougon burger was lovely, hit the spot. You must try the steak sandwich as very yum. Nothing too much trouble. Deserts came from adjacent Trio coffee bar, fabulous. EFES beer is very good. Server Mert is a star
