The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

Booked this as it was the highest rated in the area for breakfast with a number of interesting and unusual items on the menu. When we were seated, we were told it was buffet only and, whilst this was quite nice, we could have got the same at a Premier Inn.

Amazing food and pastries! Breakfast was delightful and so very tasty! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was so pleasant. I had the scrambled egg with avocado on a croissant and my husband had a traditional English breakfast.

El personal del restaurante es increíble, muy amable y te hace sentir muy bienvenido. La comida es deliciosa y de muy buena calidad. Tienen un bar completamente abastecido y una pista de baile para bailar toda la noche. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante a cualquiera que quiera una comida deliciosa y un servicio excepcional.

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch one afternoon. It was very quiet inside, we weren’t even sure if it was open at first. We ordered from the set lunch menu, which was good value. Service was reasonably quick, although not terribly friendly. The food was good, very large portions. The toilet facilities downstairs weren’t the best. It was ok for a quick lunchtime visit but I wouldn’t like to go for dinner, I would want better service and atmosphere for the evening.

I travelled 2 hours to return to Taksim (now Rosey's restaurant) which was one of my favourite places to go to in my old neighbourhood. While the food was still good, the staff rather shortsightedly, decided to rip us off by £15. When questioned, they did not even apologise and only offered to return £5 to us, charging us £10 for biryani rice (plain rice) when the biryani meal including grilled meet (which we did not order) was £15. This would mean that the grilled meet was worth £5 while the rice was £10. I don't think so. I did not enjoy being made a fool of and it really ruined all my nostalgic memories of one of my favourite places. When getting the bill, make sure it is itemised and matches the prices on the menu. Such a shame and left a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't why they did this. I would have left a tip, returned here and recommended it to others and now I feel compelled to warn others of the pitfalls. Very poor approach to running a hospitality business.

Encantador descubrimiento. Sin licencia de licor, pero compre en el camino vendiendo vino. La comida y el personal eran animados. Tuvimos un cambio radical ya que asistíamos a un teatro cercano. Fueron totalmente comprensibles. Las opciones de Meze fueron buenas. Lo único de lo que no estaba muy seguro era de la ensalada Halumi ya que el queso estaba frito en vez de a la parrilla. Pero todo lo demás estaba bien. Fueron muy serviciales allí. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo cuando tenga más tiempo en mis manos para poder saborear y disfrutar más. El corcho también era muy razonable.

Tenía una hora que matar, así que fui a comer algo y a probar el vino. El lugar es compacto pero está bien equipado con bar, comedor, buena selección de vinos y sala de actos en el sótano. Me dieron un buen toque de una selección de vinos, tapas y pasta de champiñones muy sabrosa. Una manera muy agradable y agradable de pasar el tiempo mientras esperaba que mi esposa terminara lo que estaba haciendo un sábado por la tarde. Definitivamente visitaré de nuevo.

I strongly believe there was bacon in the mac and cheese which was marked as suitable for vegetarians. It was difficult to order because the staff could not hear through the divider with the music playing.

No solo las pequeñas y tontas ollas que obtienes en el supermercado, sino también cubos de cosas preciosas. Nunca antes había comido hummus así y me enganché al instante. Póngalo junto con las ensaladas frescas de gran sabor, y tendrá un almuerzo fantástico que es tan saludable como delicioso. Stay away from this disgusting Restaurant in Pondicherry Promenade area. visited twice and both times terribly disappointed with pathetic food and staff.Worst stale idlis, rock hard rasamalai.Vosit this place at ur peril!!!

Very nice restaurant, fancy atmosphere. Had a lovely server named Zizo (I think) and he was very accommodating. Food was lovley, fast service

A friend and I stopped off here after a trip to the theatre with three kids in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating (especially Maria); they even gave the kids colouring books and crayons! The place was comfortable with enough space so it didn't feel crowded. The food (we had fresh muffins and wafers) was yummy and reasonably priced. The chai latte I had was perfect. Most importantly for a parent, the loos were clean and had handsoap; a rarity in Central London! I would highly recommend making this your pitstop when you need to sit back and have a break.

Fantastic food, well seasoned and tasty. Great customer service too and lovely prices! 10/10 rated would definitely recommend to others
