We have ordered takeaway a few times from Nigiri and the food is great. Well packaged and tasty. Having had the "real deal" in Singapore / Japan, this is pretty close to the mark. I am not a fan of Japanese style rice, but I am reliably informed that the chicken Katsu is top notch. We have sampled several of the appetisers (my preference) and can recommend the pork and the chicken gyozas (5 pieces in each). The prawn and chicken tempura is also lovely. We also tried the "loaded fries" and that is a meal in its own right! Lastly, some of the sushi was sampled and the California roll was superb. We had an issue with an order placed due to a systems glitch. You can tell the service when things go wrong - not when they always go right. Linda was very apologetic about the issue and it was rectified and we got a complimentary order as an apology. Nigiri is one of our regular places and we look forward to trying the rest of the menu ! It's great to see something other than pizza / fish and chip places. A good variety in the area is much appreciated.

Best suchi for this price. They kinda regular, but 1 set it’s enough for 1 person and it’s very cheap, recommend. Don’t visit top floor, looks scary

Having day out with my son , he chose Yosushi for lunch previously having a good experience Today 6/12/24 Very disappointing . The selection of food on the belt was extremely limited , almost all salmon . I ordered hot dish spicy rice and chicken , it was very bland , chips were ok .We commented on the selection and was told just order off the menu . It whole experience is to a variety and choose from belt. We waited but nothing appeared. So we just payed the bill and left , for £30 certainly not worth it for what we had. We also were aware of 7 salmon plates kept circling with 15.00 on them which had been on since we arrived just shortly after one . Just before 15;00 hrs a female member of staff took them off and replaced them with a new time of 18:00. Surely this is not good practice and should be discarded after this time especially uncooked fish. Also do not think i staff to be drinking cans of energy drinks inbetween preparing foods storing it beside the sauces Unfortunately I will not be returning after this experience .

Very happy that the Bibimbap is back!! That being said we have always had a lovely experience dining here. There are more options now than a year ago also. When we takeaway, the food is always fresh and full of flavour - might need a bit of a moment in the microwave with hot items but that doesn’t make a difference. The staff are lovely, options are great and we come back for more!

I’ve been here a few times. The first time I went it was amazing but with every visit it gets more and more disappointing. Half the menu was crossed out leaving us with the choice of ramen and one rice dish, all wings were available and a few sides. Everything else was crossed out and only 3 sakes out of the 10 ish or so were available. It’s been like this the past 3 visits since October. I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt but every time less and less is available. The food is so good but it’s essentially a ramen shop. We were seated at the cramped bar bit despite an empty restaurant the whole visit which hurt my knees as they were pressed against stone the entire time and my shoes are now scuffed from the stone too :( Service has gone a bit downhill too we used to be served with a smile but that has seemingly also gone. Love this place and I hope it gets back on its feet soon. Great ramen 🤍
