Food is good but the service is terrible. We were a family of 4 with 2 young children. We were shown to our table, a drinks order taken then just abandoned. We probably spent twice as long there as we planned because of the lack of service. Waiting staff need to be better.

Arrived at 13:30, lots of empty seats however staff more concerned with chatting to each other rather than seating the two families and myself waiting. 10 mins later shown to seat, another 10 mins waiting on someone taking my order. Only 2 dishes on the conveyor, 4 chefs and two waitresses present , none with any sense of urgency. Food ok however Maki rolls have shrunk in size but increased in price. Not a good experience for the cost, badly in need of some management/ supervision presence .

Very disappointing - chose Chicken Teriyaki Ramen as my main dish. It was very bland, not that hot and not at all what I was expecting. The broth was totally lacking in flavour and had none of the umami I was expecting. Over the years I have visited this Yo Sushi restaurant a number of times but will really think twice before visiting in the future. When asked by a member of staff if I was enjoying the food I said no and explained about the Ramen - she shrugged her shoulders and said that there was nothing to be done as the broth is bought in ready for use.

Amazing fresh hot hot food, service staff are so friendly and helpful. Be sure to book your table because its quite crowed

I took my youngest kid to Yo Braehead for some healthy food. We were helped out by Sheena who was absolutely awesome. and actually remembered us from a previous visit. She answered all our questions, processed the order super quick, couldn’t have been nicer and really took care of us. She and her colleague Becky were wonderful. The food itself was exceptionally good and we will be making more regular visits to Yo Braehead because of the good food and great service. Thanks guys!

We came for our son’s birthday, he chose this. We were in for 20 mins and still hadn’t been asked what we would like to drink, we were not told how to order, we had to try and get the attention of the girl serving us to get our food. People who arrived after us were served before we were. It was really poor, and the bill did not reflect the quality of food we had. Very disappointing and a waste of over £70.00. I have read similar reviews and the generic response is that they thank you for reviewing but it’s clear they don’t take them on board.

We tend to get food to go from here but instead we decided to sit down in the restaurant. The belt had very little choice; tuna or edamame. We asked for a high chair which none came. After trying to catch their attention, no one came so I walked around to find one. The server seemed annoyed that we wanted to order from her, completely insulted that I asked for a fork for my daughter & appalled that I would even ask for the bill. Lack of staff training/manners/competency.

One of the worst experiences I have had eating out. The place was freezing as apparently the cold air vents are placed about the seats. The chef that was cooking our food had the most terrible attitude, no thank you, please, you’re welcome. Chips were rock solid and I asked if we could have another bowl, she took the chips and never said a word. Awful! Then to top it off when I went to pay they told me it was cashless and they wouldn’t accept my cash. The young man that seated us was lovely actually, but sadly never mentioned they were cashless. The manager was called over and I waited another 5 minutes in the cold seat whilst they found me my change! Can’t begin to explain the difference between this and Wagamama. The food surpasses Yo Sushi all day long and the service/atmosphere is not even comparable. The manager also seemed disinterested here when I explained the service from the server was rude and unfriendly. Fine for teenagers I guess!

Went here with my three granddaughters today after school 40 minutes drive but the girls love sushi and promised this when I got payed , not a lot on the belt and asked them for cucumber maki and California crunch rolls then got picking of the belt but like I said nothing much on there only tunafish yellow and couple grey plates that means expensive and again asked for cali rolls but she is not responding anymore (tiny dark hair female ) my youngest says she did not here you I think. And said it again the comment was you can only order thru app not by asking just a bit miffed and said to the girls we take some home I don’t want to stay here anymore, took 4 crunchy cali roll and 4 cucumber maki somebody come up to me and said you can’t eat them here I know I have been going to yo for maybe 18 years ? Asked for the bill it was £70 pound and take away 40 pound lot of money for just one hour ? While I tell the girls to drink their colas and walk away kacie came up to me and said the people behind the counter where talking about us I stopped at the counter and said the the young lady can you tell your colleagues not to talk about customers while there still there it’s rude I will never go to breahead yo anymore and will tell other people to do the same that is appalling customer service

The food is so good and made fresh. I will so be coming back to this place. I would recommend that you should eat here. I love this restaurant.

I've never ate here so wonder why I got this email? And it's spelt B-R-A-E-H-E-A-D. What are the chances of this being a success if they can't even spell the name of their own place correctly? Cut your loses and turn it into a softplay or something. I've NEVER been to the place so why did I receive this email?

The Beef Teriyaki Bowl is a winner! Good quality beef and great flavours, with a little bit of sweetness. It’s not too spicy, either, but you’ve got the option of some fresh chillis if you want a bit more of a kick! Handy that you can take-away, too!

Very disappointing! Arrived at 12 noon sat 3rd June , so restaurant was just opening . Staff on front of house where very pleasant and helpful. Orders where made online , and there where not many customers in at this point . The restaurant started to fill up after maybe 10 to 15 mins after opening. 15 mins from order we had received our drinks and also the dessert? No sign of mains , hot food. Customers next to us had come in 10 mins after us but received there order well before us. I eventually got my hot food ,which was luke warm to say the least . I had ordered another 2 portions of hot food for my son which did not arrive at the same time as mine . Meals should always,come together Standard in my book . 10 mins later the chips arrived , stone clold with a sauce on top . I'm sure they where not even cooked as they where that cold . Still no main for my son , curry . I complained about the chips which then took a further 15 mins to get another bowl of chips . No urgency at all from staff making hot food . Eventually got my sons hot food , which again was sent out at a different time from the chips . I've been here before and to be fair it was good at that time . The prices are high for what you get , so would appreciate staff to look as if they care .unfortunately it fell very short . Won't be back !!

Standing waiting for 10 minutes waiting to be served for takeout 3 staff members walked past talking to be told firmly to use the ipad and then sarcastically asked if i need a hand using the ipad, shocking customer service and only to be given one chopstick when two meals are ordered

This is a lovely little Yo Sushi in the food court area at Braehead. It had the full range of food which was all delicious and served quickly. The staff were are super friendly and we didn’t have to wait to sit down. We will definitely go back soon.

Such an amazing first ever trip to Yo Sushi, 4 friends sat and enjoyed the most beautiful cuisine with super friendly service.. team were so happy and helpful!!! Every dish was delicious… we could not fault a thing.. wevcan’t wait for our next Yo Sushi Braehead catch up. It’s going to be our new monthly meet up! Thanks so much

Service was very slow and after 1 hour and 20 minutes we still didn’t have everything we ordered and paid for so gave up and left . We spent £70 and left frustrated and disappointed .

Terrible experience, their new covid service does not work. Slow service, not all dishes arrived, tiny portions and overpriced. Hygiene poor. Will not be back.

We visited this Yosushi for the first time and were back within a week. The staff were very patient and helpful, especially with coronavirus precautions. Food was served to perfection and will definately be returning.

Chefs were brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful. The new safety protocols work well and staff were helpful to gat things moving.

Great food, great choice, great service. Group of 4 had lunch here, 25% on Mondays off food. Without discount the meal would have come to £100. Bit pricey for lunch but very good. Highly recommend the chicken rice, katsu curry and chicken and tangerine salad.
