If it's the only place open and you're hungry, go for it. But! They mix up the wrong people's orders and don't seem to listen carefully enough. E.g. the lady before me wanted chips covered with may and ketchup and I wanted plain chips with salt and vinegar: they got them the wrong way around which I only discovered once I got home......!! When I wanted literally a portion of chips and some grilled halloumi, they first started making a halloumi wrap which I didn't want, and then charge me £5.50 for a few slices of grilled halloumi, even when I politely said it was too expensive... Not good service sadly.........

Was taken to this place by my partner to celebrate my birthday, she had been here about 5 years prior and was very excited. Let me start by saying the food was great, really tasty, good portion sizes on the sides etc, but that’s about where the positivity ends. When we walked in one of the staff was just slumped by the till/ipad and we stood there for a good 20 seconds before she even acknowledged us by saying “yes?”. My parter explained that she had a table booked for 7pm for the two of us, which she had to explain twice, the lady just said “downstairs”, don’t know what happened to “please” but at this point I let it go. Got downstairs to another staff member, this time a young guy pottering about, nobody sat down there at all, he wandered over and again just gawked at us like we were aliens. He just said “upstairs”, I explained in no uncertain terms that we were going to sit down here as we’d just been ‘sent’ down here. We chose our own table and got seated. The young lad then put music on, on the iPad on the service hatch through to the kitchen at virtually full volume. So despite being the only people on the lower floor we were unable to hold a conversation. Eventually, the girl from upstairs came over with a face like thunder and just went “you ready?”, like we were inconveniencing her being here. We ordered our food and drink, she sent us both the wrong drinks. The food came which as I said was fantastic. Just as the experience began to improve the young lady staff member said “hey you want anything else?”. I don’t know about anyone reading this, but I certainly haven’t ever been spoken to like this in any restaurant, anywhere in the world, ever. After we’d finished we sat there for another 30 minutes waiting to pay, until we got up and went back upstairs. Spoke to the young lady again who again seemed as though we were inconveniencing her. Begrudgingly she slumped next to the iPad again and took payment from my wife, who is far more patient than myself, then had the audacity to look at me expecting me to smile and say thankyou which obviously she was left waiting for, she didn’t say thankyou, or goodbye or anything. To be honest the whole ordeal made me cringe. It’s a real shame because it’s a quirky, cool little restaurant with great food, that on this occasion was ruined by inattentive, rude, lazy staff who made us feel like a burden and an inconvenience. If I was the owner of this restaurant I would be embarrassed and would be looking for make some changes.
