The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Greenwich London

Amazing food. Always fresh and never been disappointed. The owner and chef always makes you feel welcome. We are now regular customers since 10 years.

Fuimos para un almuerzo entre semana con una reserva en su lugar. Este es de 3 pisos con sólo 2 camareras. No mucha gente, pero muchos conductores deliveroo viniendo las camareras eran hasta cierto punto ocupado con llevar los pedidos. El servicio era lento, pero la comida era buena. Generosas porciones. Bueno y variado menú. La comida estaba bien preparada, excepto que era Yakitori quemados. Claramente este restaurante podría ser fácilmente 5 estrellas pero necesitamos más personal y más rápido servicio. Un grupo de 5 trabajadores de oficina y no nos sirve vino en el tiempo y a la izquierda antes de comer. Debería haber sido posible para servir a ellos como no muy concurrida. Los precios aquí son razonables. Los propietarios deben emplear más gente para hacer de este un muy buen restaurante. Otro punto más importante es la señoras loo. Bastante nefasto y no limpio. Esto no debería ocurrir.

We dropped in early one evening for some family sushi and were delighted with the welcome and the food. There was a super buzz in the restaurant, lots of happy diners and a group of staff who were friendly, helpful and made us feel like valued customers. We ordered a selection of sushi including maki rolls and nigiri. We also went for some tempura ebi, gyoza, edamame and other bits including katsu curry for the boys. the food was all of a good quality, nicely presented and arriving in good time. We enjoyed the food so much that we ordered a few other dishes through the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Kitcho is a fantastic Japanese restaurant - if we were local we would become regular customers. Thanks to everyone there for running such a great restaurant!

Today was the day to have lunch with my dear father-in-law. Very good! Great price! It looks like bachan food.

Food is really nice juices and starters crackers are really delicious and prem staff members service is very nice he is very attentive checking on us regularly with smile all the time just loved the place

As a Japanese foodie this experience was a disappointment. The fresh Udon station is good feature and certainly the USP, however beyond that all the 'add ons' to complete your noodles we tried were bland and tasteless or overpowering with salt. With the high prices and the slow service to pay (that left our food cold-warm) and the staff showing no initiative to rectify, the experience was poor and disappointing. Plenty of food choices at the 02 instead of this one!

La comida era deliciosa y el personal era muy amable y muy limpio. Vale la pena el precio y la excelente ubicación. ¿Definitivamente prueba los croissants?

Today was an absolutely dreadful experience. I arrived with plenty of time, only to be told I could have the table for just one hour—a statement that immediately made me feel unwelcome. It was insulting, as if my presence was an inconvenience. After my order was taken, I waited over half an hour, watching people who arrived much later than me being served their food first. When I finally complained, they promised my sushi would arrive in five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, still nothing. I repeatedly asked to pay for my drink so I could leave, as I was furious and running late for an evening event I had carefully planned. I didn’t have the luxury of extending my time. After much frustration, they finally let me pay, but by then my patience was gone. As I stormed out bitterly, having received no food, I walked past the open bar and saw, to my utter disbelief, that they were only halfway through preparing the sushi I had ordered 50 minutes ago. This was an absolute failure—either due to appalling management or severe understaffing on a busy Friday night. They completely ruined my evening! I cannot fathom how such incompetence is allowed to persist.

What an amazing place, full of charm. Love the tiny, unassuming venue! The food is epic. Visited with work friends for a Christmas outing. Portions and flavours are great. Staff are friendly and attentive. BYOB and cash only. - perfect

Best katsu curry! I’m not a big fan of the dish in general but the one this place makes is my guilty pleasure- thin crunchy breaded chicken, perfectly done sticky rice and the most perfect sauce! Nice simple miso soup too! Orders always come on time, mostly even early! Too bad they have not been taking deliveries for a few week now?! I’m so gutted we can’t get our fav katsu curry!

Entré aquí para cenar después de un breve viaje de compras. Tuve un plato de comida de pollo que venía con arroz y ensalada. El pollo estaba muy bueno y había mucha. Toda la comida era muy buena relación calidad-precio para 10 y sin duda volvería a comer allí.
