The best sushi spot in Colchester! Fresh sushi and always so much food for such a good price. Affordable for students but their specialty rolls are honestly incredible. Very vegetarian friendly!

"A Gem for Food Lovers" I absolutely loved my experience at Koryu! The food was outstanding, with a variety of incredibly tasty vegan options that exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was elevated by thoughtfully curated music, creating a relaxing and inviting vibe. To top it all off, the service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Koryu is a place I’ll be returning to often, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

An excellent meal, we ordered a real selection of dishes and all were equally good. It was very popular and service was very efficient. My advice would be to order courses as you want them as it can feel overwhelming if they arrive at the same time.

Probably our 10th visit, always choose here for birthdays and to host visitors. The setting and decor is so beautiful it really is a treat. Today’s visit was to host a business associate visiting from Australia. We had a selection of sushi, Wagu sliders, Thai curries, Korean pork belly slices, prawn bites and fabulous cocktails. Our guest was highly impressed and delicious as always, thoroughly impressed with the depth and levels of flavours the chefs create. Gareth, as always was the consummate and delightful host. Always a pleasure to see him when we visit. Thank you to all @pavilion!
