The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scotland

I only completed the above boxes to get to the review section. our children gave us a voucher for Christmas. When we tried to book it was temporarily closed. we have tried calling & emailing on numerous occasions without success. Not one reply. i even sent an email to the owner via LinkedIn, again with no reply. very disappointed with the owners business ethics

We were welcomed with a genuine smile and seated at table around the room as per our booking. The food was excellent and the service provided was great. The shearing started and my seafood pasta especially superb. Pasta was not overcooked and just perfect.

Visited recently during the week and although really busy the food and service were outstanding. My partner is from Edinburgh and couldn’t believe how reasonable it was for the quality of food we were served. She can’t wait to go back. Fab u Lous

Mi esposa y yo disfrutamos de mariscos frescos y pasta en este auténtico restaurante italiano. Excelente servicio y ambiente cómodo, la calidad de la comida era de un alto nivel y un gran menú, disfrutamos de una comida de 3 platos y estábamos muy satisfechos. Gracias!

We visited KB’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant as a spur of the moment decision on our one night stay in Aberfeldy and we were not disappointed! From the outside it may look like nothing special but inside is a fantastic Italian restaurant! The food tasted authentic and freshly cooked and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! I’d recommend paying this place a visit!

Lovely dinner at Prego at the weekend. Food amazing as always and staff took great care of us so well. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Reservamos este restaurante después de haber visitado antes con un amigo y quería ver si era tan bueno como la primera visita. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos llevaron a nuestra mesa por el camarero, siento no haber pillado su nombre. Pedido de bebidas tomado rápidamente para permitirnos seleccionar del menú a nuestro antojo. El pan y el aceite salieron con las bebidas que siempre pienso que es un toque encantador. Cuando salió la red la presentación era realmente bueno y generoso tamaños de porciones. Mi marido tenía lasaña, que dijo que era mejor que cualquiera que tenía en Italia hace 2 años! Los ñoquis en pesto estaban deliciosos y la foccacia de ajo era increíble, tan ligero. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra visita, bromas del camarero era brillante, la comida era deliciosa y el ambiente era fantástico. El restaurante es bastante pequeño, pero se siente muy acogedor. Si de vuelta en Leith visitando de nuevo sin duda volvería.

Chicken is good. Pizza is below average. Ordered the chilli pork pizza and they gave me the duck one. Overpriced pints as well. Selling tiger as Heineken.

Arigo was our Go Go Local when we lived in EK. What a friendly atmosphere and really good food. Always listen to the specials. ☺️

Visited with family and were warmly welcomed. Friendly staff and tasty food. Their Tuesday deal on pizza and pasta made an excellent meal very affordable. Lovely pizzas all round!!

authentic Italian restaurant with lots of charm & traditional vibes. The early bird 2 course menu is excellent value for money at £13.50 pp with all the classic dishes on. We opted for the regular menu, i had the calamari fritters & sea bass with mushroom ravioli ( was lobster on menu but they had run out). The fish was cooked to perfection & the ravioli was amazing in the red pepper sauce. My partner had panzenolle ( probably spelt that wrong but it was pieces of pizza dough with a garlic mayo dip ) & steak diane. He said the steak was one of the best he had, very tender. The restaurant was full, which apparently it is mostly, good atmosphere & lots of attentive staff. very good👍

Lots of options available and the waitress was really nice. I had the bianca pizza which was amazing and my husband
