Below shocking. Arrived at 6.50pm only to be told by the greater with blue hair, ‘your table isn’t booked until seven, but it is ready so I’ll seat you”? Huge training issues in this place, wasn’t offered drinks which in hospitality should be first question after being seated. Takes about half an hour to receive jug of water and drinks! Place is being run by kids who don’t have a clue and are obviously unhappy in their jobs. The person who at start of the evening seemed they could be management came to clear the table next to us, tipped a full jug of water over my husband and nephews legs, then tipped over the mop bucket. She then announced ‘ that’s it I’m going’, we never saw her for rest of night. Starters started arriving at table one by one, slowly without dips, we were told sorry, new chef, ‘He doesn’t know what he’s doing’ (sic). Service was shocking our table was never cleared, we had to put all our dirty dishes on next table. I studied at one of Italy’s best cookery schools in its time, I taught my Nephew who invited us to your restaurant how to cook and about good nutrition. My nephew Co hosts a very popular cooking site in NI which I contribute to. From the menu I chose a pizza which said goats cheese caramelised onions pine nuts sun dried tomatoes, basil, sounded so appetising, looked like a child made it, there was no filling on it, it was burnt on patches so I couldn’t eat. There was very little substance to eat, zero goats cheese, it was shocking. When asked if we wanted our ‘obviously’ uneaten food boxed, we all said no Thank you.. My nephews lasagne arrived one and a half hours after ordering, cold, had to be sent back, didn’t get back for half an hour. Your establishment is shocking, it deserves Zero, it is run by kids who don’t have a clue and no management team to train or guide. There is no chef in the kitchen, at one point whilst waiting so long for food my nephew joked, ‘right Auntie,’ you and I in the kitchen let’s show these kids how it should be done.

Llegué a almorzar la semana pasada, había una chica rubia "sirviendo". Esperé a que me atendieran por un par de minutos, sin embargo, su teléfono debe ser mucho más importante ya que no podía apartar la vista de él. Se fue y consiguió comida en obriens en su lugar. No volveremos!

Went in on Tuesday for 2 for 1 deal my food was disgusting had mold and flys coming out of the box. Asked for a manger and some fat mess came stomping over with her fingers down her dunnes stores wannabe flares. She came back over and waved her hand around the place the smell of fish coming from her fingers nearly made me be sick in her face

Normalmente no soy tan directivo. Tenía la esperanza de que el cambio de manos de Kings Head pudiera haberlo revivido. Me gusta un menú corto. . . concéntrate en lo que eres bueno en n de todo eso, pero esto fue ridículamente limitado. Puede tener un tipo de hamburguesa, carne, pescado, pollo o una variedad muy limitada de pizzas. Como no me apetece nada en el menú estándar, elegí una pizza "elige tu propia". Se equivocaron la primera vez y cuando obtuve lo que ordené, los otros dos habían terminado sus principales y el mío estaba casi bien. No volveré. Estaba bastante vacío un sábado por la noche en la calle Lisburn. Lo dice todo.

This takeaway is let down by the horrifically ill mannered staff. 2 weeks on a row, the apparent 'manager' has taken the order incorrectly and when we phoned, politely to ask that they correct their mistake, the answer was, 'I don't know what you want me to do, it's with you.' There were no apologies, no offer to correct their mistake but instead, she was heard to snigger about our complaint. I genuinely never complain about anything but when people are rude when you are paying for a service, I think the very least that should be offered is an apology. If the actual owner of 'Twice the Spice' reads this, please please re-think you management structure. Your current manager 'who refused to provide her name' is nothing shy of hostile, rude, and not someone you should have representing your business.

I was charged for an online pizza order on a day that the pizza place was actually closed. Our order on the website went through OK, my wife went to collect, to find that the pizza place was closed. The money was duly debited from my account, and I received an e-mail some time the following evening advising me that my pizza was ready for collection (approx. 24 hours later, at which point I no longer desired a pizza). I have tried e-mailing multiple times without response. The phone number listed on the website doesn't work. Next stop: Trading Standards.

Visited the Tap House as we were staying nearby, the staff were pleasant and the food fine. Our only issue was the slow service, we had been in the restaurant well over an hour and we only just finished our starter and the place wasn’t overly busy, would think twice before going here again, far too slow.
