Rang up at short notice on the off chance of table The owner fitted us in no problem Very busy when we arrived, sat us down to our table immediately, nice decor. Ordered pizzas, very authentic and we found out the owner is from genova, so a proper pizza. A bottle of white sicilian wine from Menfi, very nice! So £100 for 3 of us inc a starter to share and a bottle of wine Decent effort from this restaurant, I highly recommend it

My wife and I are from the US and we visited Ireland back in September 2024, and La Sosta was one of the most special meals we had on this trip. For my primo, I had the ravioli with asparagus, and it was some of the best pasta I've ever had. It reminded me of my trip to Italy! My wife's primo was the rigatoni alla vodka, and it was great also. My secondo was the lamb with mint sauce, and my wife's secondo was the chicken, bacon, and mozzarella dish. Our contorni were roasted potatoes, green beans, and aubergines. The house white wine and sparkling water paired well with the food. For dolci, I had panna cotta with raspberry sauce, and my wife had the gelato. It was fun to practice speaking Italian with the owner also. He made the experience authentic and uniquely Italian. The pace of dining here was leisurely and relaxing, all of the food was outstanding, and we left full and happy!

Excellent cuisine, couldn't believe the amount of side orders that accompanied our main courses. Fine wine, lovely table water and such tasty food, really well balanced!!! Couldn't fault this restaurant and lovely wee wood burning fire too. .

The food was amazing and we enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

Romeo’s never disappoints me with the food quality. Andrea at front she is very helpful and very friendly person. I had mixed feelings king kebab which was huge and tasty. I will definitely be back
