This is a beautiful Italian Restaurant with beautiful fresh food but you have to be patient to have freshly cooked food. It's relaxed and plenty of time between each course which I prefer. Lovely friendly staff

Dinner at la sosta was a delightful experience! The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, and the food was well prepared, showcasing a balance of flavours. Excellent service, all the staff were very accommodating and approachable. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and we will definitely return !

Delicious food which is full of flavour. Never fails to impress. The service was excellent. We would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Perfect for special occasions too.

The food here was superb, authentic Italian dishes. I had the duck leg and the filet steak. It has a cosy and warm atmosphere and the staff were friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions. Highly recommended for a real piece of Italy in the city!

It's rare I write a bad review for a restaurant but this was the most disappointing meal I've had in the last few years. We went at 8pm and were not served our main until 10.20pm and we all just wanted to go home. When it did come out there was no apology for the wait and some of the younger staff need more training - forgotten drinks orders and a shrug and "aye dunno" when I asked how long food might be. The food itself was almost inedible and very bland. If it took so long to cook I would have hoped it wouldnt be dry mince in a canelloni with some tinned tomato dried up on top. I said this to the manager and there was no attempt to rectify this so I paid and left. Avoid and go to Brown's if you like food.

Was disappointed with the owner who shouted at a waitress F....Off . I'm the boss. From that point I took a dislike and couldn't wait to leave.

Food was original & most impressive. Lovely touches on the food such as sliced & sauteed aubergines as part of thd sides & figs on the cold meat starter dish. The leek & potato soup was flavoursome & was a hit with my thirteen year old. Our mains were chicken rolled in pancetta which was so tender. The cannelloni pasta dishes were top-notch. The meal was generous served with a selection of breads. Waitress was exceptionally courteous & helpful. We had a few glasses of house wine which was very good value. Overall, a most enjoyable evening had by all. Would recommend highly.

Lovely small traditional Italian restaurant. Excellent service, really freshly cooked and well presented food. If you want a good ambience, and good food go here. It’s a quality restaurant, so don’t expect cheap pizza/pasta chain store prices.

This is definitely the number one best place to eat in Derry ! I have been there twice and the food , atmosphere and staff first class! We came from Dublin for our 30th wedding anniversary and we had the most tasty , beautiful food !

This authentic Italian restaurant is a little hidden away, but well worth the effort of finding. We both had the lamb dish which came with vegetables and potatoes included. The food was excellent.
