Rang up at short notice on the off chance of table The owner fitted us in no problem Very busy when we arrived, sat us down to our table immediately, nice decor. Ordered pizzas, very authentic and we found out the owner is from genova, so a proper pizza. A bottle of white sicilian wine from Menfi, very nice! So £100 for 3 of us inc a starter to share and a bottle of wine Decent effort from this restaurant, I highly recommend it

Came here with family as a pre-christmas celebration. Well decorated and lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, and good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and very attentive throughout the night! Would definitely recommend!

First visit to Spaghetti Junction with a friend for my birthday meal Very friendly and welcoming service from the moment we arrived.. Tasty food Generous portions Nice menu selection I asked for an authentic Italian carbonara (as I don’t like cream sauce) so they offered to make it Italian style and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back and would recommend!

Excellent food. Some of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. Experience a little dampened however when they asked to bring us dessert menus (we said "yes"), failed to do so, and then when we had to actively call out just to get their attention and pay the bill (after a very long wait). But would go back should we be in Derry again.

Excellent quality of service and friendly staff plenty of variety of choices of food and beverage. I called in without a reservation, and the staff was extremely welcoming and getting me a table. I admired decorating of the entire restaurant open planned child friendly and decor on the walls made you feel like you were in Italy or Greece. Food delicious served on platters very authentic. I suffer from my mental health and emotional well-being issues and mobility issues when sometimes I would be housebound throughout the year. I was in the area for the 43rd anniversary of the Hunger Strikers yearly March starting at Free Derry Corner around various areas of the town finished at The Gas Yard Centre to hear public speakers. When leaving to go home, I had heard of this establishment that prompted me to go inside for something to eat. I would highly recommend this restaurant to other individuals who have not yet tried, especially to tourists staying in the town. Love this restaurant. Started going a while back and have been back every week since. Have tried various things off the menu and loved them all. Kids eat off main menu but a kids portion which is great. Service is always really good and staff very friendly.

We booked a table for 3vand we're seated straight away , it has such a friendly atmosphere that you instantly relax , drinks ordered , I had a bottle of wine , a bit pricey at £25 , but it was a thank you night out , the others had cocktails and said they were delicious . Food served promptly and the smell and flavours were amazing . Staff were lively and I could listen to the owners Italian accent all night 😅 A pricey night out but we'll worth it for a treat

What an amazing experience, from the friendly staff who greeted us and led us to our table, to the waiter whobrecommened our amazing food and the lovely young waitresses who kept our drinks flowing and to the wonderfully talented Bruno who has one of the most amazing voices. Seriously good gluten free pizza. They can also make the pastas GF. And also just to mention the great atmosphere, pleasant staff, fun decor and fun live music.

Ignore the exterior and name if thats putting you off, the food is great and the service is top. I had maybe the best carbonara of my life here.

We went to Spaghetti Junction tonight for my daughters 18th birthday. Walter and Massimo and all the staff were absolutely amazing and gave my daughter such a special evening. Visited with friends on Sunday evening, meal was top class, and staff were great, well worth a visit, had the meat feast, and it was a feast.

This seems to be the best Italian in the city - and can corroborate this. We enjoyed our meal. Would be regulars if lived locally!

What a great wee restaurant. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was exceptional, lovely wine, friendly service and great value for money. Gluten free pasta available and was the best I've ever tasted. All in all they couldn't do enough for us. Memorable night

Delicious pizzas, with a wide variety on the menu and with lots of cheese (which is hard to find in the north). The service was very attentive and what's more, it's nice to be able to speak a Romance language when you're so far from the Mediterranean.

Very friendly, slick service, authentic Italian. Unpretentious and easy access from our hotel and town centre. Reasonably priced pizza and pasta. Would definitely recommend for families and couples.

Spaghetti Junction is one of the best restaurants I have been to. We go as a family frequently and the team actually accommodated our wedding dinner there. The staff go above and beyond on all occasions, the service is excellent and the food is second to none. I would highly recommend here for an authentic Italian dining experience. 10/10 every time

The atmosphere is very nice and feels like your away on holiday. The pizza was very authentic and Italian with a nice crispy Crust and base and homemade sauce.The staff were very nice and I will definitely be back.

It's more than going for a meal it's an experience and if I could give it a sixth star the SJ would win it hands down.

My first visit. We went on the Saturday night when Bruno was singing( though he usually sings on Fridays). The food was delicious and the service was excellent. When arriving, the place looked as if it may not have been even opened. Once we stepped inside, it was if we were transported to Italy. One of our party was Italian and he was very impressed with everything. The music took the evening to a new level. Bruno’s versatility was incredible. He had everyone singing along. No song was beyond him. We will be back to experience this lovely place again soon. I can’t recommend it highly enough to those who want to experience quality Italian food, along with excellent musical entertainment.

Family meal with multiple nationalities, ages and dietary requirements. Delicious food to suit everyone even people on weight loss goals. Amazing fish if the day. Pasta and a tremendous chicken salad which was huge. Absolutely amazing meal and reasonably priced for amazing quality.

I had Classic Italian pizza Thursday night Best part was the atmosphere, live music and all the patrons were having a great time. Staff were great and our host was friendly and attentive.

A surprising little gem. I wouldn’t have tried it if I hadn’t read all of the positive reviews, as it doesn’t look like much from the outside. But the food was good and we enjoyed a leisurely (definitely not fast) dinner. Two pizzas (excellent!) and a caprese salad were enough for the 3 of us. The cannoli was excellent, the panna cotta just ok. Very glad we tried it.

Very pleasant place run by Italians. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the cuisine is of a good standard and the welcome is extraordinarily warm and attentive. Probably the best Italian restaurant in Derry.

An absolutely delicious meal, I am coeliac and was able to have lovely garlic bread and pasta and the lemoncello sorbet was amazing! I will definitely be back!

Went there last night with my 2 daughters. Absolutely lovely setting and decor. However, while we were trying to decide on food the waitress came over 3 times to take our drink order. We were also being very rushed into ordering food. Eventually the owner came quite abruptly over to take our order. My daughter ordered carbonara but it was literally swinging in a bed of oil which was turning her stomach. Myself and my other daughter also has pasta which was just average. I thought the staff were lovely but the owner was rude. Quite pricy too. Will not be returning.

Absolutely fantastic can't wait to go again

We dropped in late on a Wednesday night, not too long before closing.. and Mass was able to accommodate us quickly! The food was amazing! The starters and mains were hot, fresh, and delicious! The service was outstanding as well. We had a phenomenal dessert... the Affogato... which was espresso and ice cream... that was divine! As an added bonus, we really enjoyed talking with the staff... they treat everyone who comes in as family. I loved that it was such a casual atmosphere - it was like a family dinner. What a great experience... we highly recommend you stop in at Spaghetti Junction if you are in Derry!!!

Food tasted OK, I mean you can’t really go wrong with Italian food. The garlic break we had needed a bit of kick like Tabasco sauce but they didn’t have anything like that. My main tasted OK but again they didn’t have any chilli flakes or anything for me to bring out the flavouring. I asked a few times if they had any kind of chilly sauce but they didn’t. I also wanted Parmesan on my pasta but they didn’t have any. So it’s something that couldn’t be fixed for me during my stay. Service from the manager was good but the waiter who served us was a bit clueless. Table decor is from the 80s. Haven’t seen a blue plastic table covering for awhile. Personally it’s pricy for what you get. That’s just my opinion.

We went for dinner this evening (thursday night) and really enjoyed ourselves. From the moment we walked in we were met by the most kindest staff who looked after us brilliantly. You can see the passion the staff have in their work. The food was beautiful. The decor was very unique and made us feel we were in italy ourselves. We will definitely be back when visiting again. Amazing food and amazing service

Had one the nicest vegan pizza's at spaghetti junction. Service was great and pizza was so authentic really recommended.

Decor and Furnishings were a bit off-putting for me personally. I can definitely see what they're aiming to do but for me it just feels a tad tacky. Others may love it though?! The service was very good. Two older gentlemen and two young staff worked the floor the evening we visited on 16th Feb. The young lad was very professional. The food I received was really disappointing unfortunately. Starter of Calamari & Prawns - poor presentation and absolutely zero flavour. Even when covered in salt+pepper it was still terrible. Seafood Linguine had 3 Calamari Rings, literally one prawn and some tiny muscles. The Langoustine was more for decorative purposes it was that small and probably had a thumbnail worth of meat in it. The Pizza ordered was very good and another person had Bolognese which they enjoyed. The Entertainment by 'Bruno' was really enjoyable and definitely made the night. Would I go back based on what I ordered - unfortunately not. It's worth a visit for the Entertainment though.

The service was exceptional and the food was just as good. Superb food cooked to perfection. Highly recommend especially as places with great service are hard to come by.

I was very happy with everything until the bill was issued to our table, we were charged for another bottle of wine which we did not receive, the wine he put onto our bill was more expensive than the one we received and when I confronted him about the issue he said sorry it was a mistake. This was his response, I thought the wine was the table beside you, but when I checked the table beside me, it was a completely different wine that was charged to our bill, so then I knew he was trying his luck on us to receive more money, probably because I was slightly tipsy? Who knows. My husband and I always check the bill, because this has happened before to us in other restaurants. So..... I confronted the owner and he said it was a genuine mistake but I said as a business person myself, I know what is correct or not correct, so I said to him that I was very unhappy with this and that it was not a genuine mistake on the restaurant but the restaurant trying to receive extra money and hoping I would not notice, As a business woman myself , I see when people are ready to pay their bill and never check the bill amount, so make this your issue when purchasing any meal or item before you pay. Had a lovely meal but I would not return because of the restaurant trying to over charge me. So people always check your final bill 💸.

What a fab place! I was there as part of a group of 12. The food was delicious, the music brilliant, Bruno was singing, and the atmosphere fantastic. The staff are brilliant from explaining the items on the menu to recommendations on what to try. I will definitely go again.

Good atmosphere Service reasonable although I had to ask for my side order twice which got delivered after the main course was eaten. They also never came back for follow up drinks. Had to ask more than once. Food was truly awful. Tiny portions and display was terrible. Tasted very average. I’d go here for atmosphere only. Definitely not the food.

We live locally and had not been to the restaurant. Two sets of friends independently commented on the good meal they had recently so we decided to go. We will definitely the back!! The food was beautiful. We chose two chicken dishes with beautiful vegetables. The flavours were delicious. They recommended the wine snd it complimented so well. Thank you

We visited spaghetti junction on a busy Saturday at end of September. As per some comments below it does not look much from the outside but once inside you feel like you are transported to Italy. Menu is typical Italian and with 10 in our party a wide range of started came on all to an excellent standard. We then had mains again a wife variety of pasta, pizza and meat and all excellent. Waiting staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. As we were finishing startera the entertainment started with Bruno on the microphone. He started slowly but by the time we had finished all 10 of us plus the rest of the restaurant and waiting staff were up dancing to his array of songs. Highly recommended. Food excellent.

We’ve been here numerous times, great value for money, staff are excellent, food is superb - portion sizes are overly generous. Never had a bad meal or experience in all the years I’ve been coming. Highly recommend

Exaggeratedly Italian, a place for foreigners looking for a bit of Italy, average food, friendly staff.

A nice restaurant and a pleasant dining experience, very central. Staff pleasant, alert and efficient. Antipasto and lasagne excellent…expensive seafood ravioli tasted is if it had been frozen. Pizzas at next table looked great. Wine selection good, draught beers available. Appearance of restaurant outside poor, looks like a take out.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Derry with a great Italian atmosphere (with photos and Italian mandolin music) and delicious food. We had orange chicken and fettuccine bolognese along with the tiramisu. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Wow. Simply amazing atmosphere. Friday night singer was incredible. Such a fun night Thank you for finding a spot for us. 5 stars. Try the montelpuciano red wine as well as the best teramisu in my life.

We had dinner here at the weekend. I had pizza which was delicious and my husband had pasta which he enjoyed very much. Service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be back.

Always a fabulous time at Spaghetti Junction and last night was no exception. The authentic and beautiful decor transports you to the beauty of Italy, the friendliest and very professional owners and staff, the delicious food and the outstanding and wonderful voice of Bruno makes for a very entertaining and truly enjoyable time. No wonder it has become so popular and is a favorite with its many returning customers. I will be back!

This place is a true gem. The food is amazing - definitely authentic Italian. The owners are funny and charming and will work to make your experience excellent. The location is historic too - right in the middle of the Bloody Sunday area. Great value too.

We are not Italians who usually go to Italian restaurants abroad but we let ourselves be tempted and left satisfied.
