The starter of mozzarella wrapped in parma ham was very good but the pizzas despite looking like very good wood fired pizzas were actually disappointing a bit too soggy and a bit doughy overall. Topping was okay but didn't have fresh tomato taste you really need . Service was quite efficient but forgot to bring fresh cutlery after taking the used ones away after the starter , didn't ask about the meal till it was finished, so overall a bit of a let down

Es difícil expresar lo decepcionante que fue esto. Para que quede claro son 5 años desde la última vez que visitamos y hemos experimentado dos excelentes comidas en ese entonces. Encontrándonos en Bradford para un evento que estábamos dispuestos a volver a Jinnah para otra comida tradicional pakistaní. Ocupado durante el Ramadán y una fiesta también estaba en marcha, pero fuimos acomodados a nuestros asientos por el 'tío'. pedidos tomados rápidamente, pero el 'tío' tuvo que volver y volver a comprobar el pedido berbal 5 veces antes de que se finalizara. Sé que parecíamos una pareja blanca mayor, nos pidieron nuestra preferencia de nivel de especias para la comida principal. Yo estaba contento con el medium pero mi esposa ha perdido mucha de su tolerancia a las especias y ha solicitado un pollo de mantequilla suave para la comida principal. Esto resultó en algunas sonrisas divertidas y bromistas. El entrante de chuletas de cordero era excelente... y se puede juzgar mucho sobre un restaurante pakistaní por sus chuletas de cordero! El pollo Pakoras también muy bueno. Lamentablemente desde aquí todo fue cuesta abajo. Mi pollo Keema era muy promedio en comparación con la excelente versión que he disfrutado aquí hace muchos años. La calidad del pollo no era genial, sabor un poco soso para ser honesto. No es un gran ejemplo de mis platos favoritos. Pilau muy promedio de hecho. Sin embargo, mi esposa 'suave' pollo de mantequilla era mucho más caliente que mi keema medio. Para ella no era comestible y el pollo también era de mala calidad. Le preguntamos al tío por qué hacía tanto calor cuando pedimos muy suave. Su respuesta risueña y condescendiente no fue alentadora. Él se lo llevó para producir otro y le dijo a mi esposa 'para probar esto esperamos que disfruten de este'. Era el mismo pollo y todo lo que se había hecho era añadir una salsa dulce korma o dhansak al plato. Era dulce pero igual de caliente. Se rió al irse. Comí mi comida, mi esposa no, pero pedimos que fuera en caja para nuestro hijo que está feliz con comidas muy picantes. Nos tiraron las cajas de embalaje y nos dejaron 15 minutos antes de empacarlas nosotros mismos y marcharnos. La grosería no lo cubre. Sabemos que el tío asumió que éramos dos viejos idiotas blancos que probablemente no saben distinguir un buen curry de uno malo. Sin embargo, estaba equivocado. Mi esposa padre nació y creció en Jhalum. Comemos comida pakistaní casera apropiada semana tras semana y tanto mi esposa como yo podemos cocinar mejor comida tradicional pakistaní que la que tuvimos hoy. Sí, nos fuimos enojados, sobre todo nos fuimos hambrientos, y no, nunca volveremos. Servicio impactante, comida pobre, nada tradicional o auténtico sobre este restaurante, comida o servicio. 'Tío' absolutamente decepcionó a su familia.

Food was great - best steak I’ve had in a while. Would not recommend any of the noodles etc - it’s a steak place so your best playing it safe with burgers, steak etc. They are very good at this. We got noodles that were very salty so proved our theory correct. Server had some signs of micro aggression so did not feel that welcomed - service did take a while but I assume this was because there may have been less chefs in the kitchen at the time that we went. I also understand the waitress was the only server so we decided not to say anything to her as she may have been under pressure. Parking was great and convenient.

5 for dinner. All good and overall a good dinner experience. The prawn starter was the standout , well presented and very tasty . The only niggle of the night was I ordered the Nduja pizza and was expecting some heat but it was as tame as a margherita.... shame really, I'll try again different one next time. Prices fair and our waitress was lovely.

Our dining experience at Cona was nothing short of exceptional truly unforgettable from start to finish. We indulged in their 3-course Sunday roast, complemented by a few additional starters and sides, each dish reflecting the impeccable quality and care put into the food. To begin, we ordered the Wagyu Quesabirria and the Truffle Tagliolini. The Quesabirria were outstanding, crispy on the outside, with tender, melt in your mouth wagyu inside, perfectly paired with chimichurri and chili dips that elevated the flavours even further. The Tagliolini was rich and velvety, with the earthy aroma of truffle and the sharpness of parmesan coming together in a luxurious, comforting dish. We couldn't resist a second starter, the Chicken and Mushroom Lasagna. While mushrooms aren’t usually a favourite of mine, the presentation and refinement of the dish won me over. It was delicate yet full of depth a true testament to the chef’s craft. For the mains, we got the Salt Marsh Lamb and the Corn-Fed Chicken. Both came accompanied by a generous serving of wagyu fat-roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich, flavourful gravy. The lamb was perfectly cooked (i got medium), and the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. We also added sides of Truffle Mac and Cheese and Truffle Mash, both indulgent, creamy, and packed with flavour. The mac and cheese, in particular, had the most satisfying cheese pull! To finish, we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding with clotted cream and a Chocolate Fondant paired with salted caramel ice cream. The desserts were, in all honesty, the highlight of the meal. The sticky toffee pudding is an absolute must try, warm, gooey, and deeply satisfying. For drinks, we went with a dragonfruit and a strawberry mocktail, both vibrant, refreshing, and noticeably fresh. These were no ordinary mocktails! The service was flawless throughout, attentive staff, quick table resets between courses, and a sense of fine dining without the pretense. Cona effortlessly combines minimalist design with elegant touches, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. If you’re in Bradford, this is a culinary destination you don’t want to miss!

Place was understaffed when I came here with a friend. Took 30 mins waiting for a simple milkshake. Yes the gimmicks look impressive but not worth the painfully slow waiting times.

We decided to give this place a try, we first went in june and had a decent but nice pizza so we decided on friday we would go again after a month, well the pizza we were given was completely different to the one we enjoyed before, the dough tasted as it had chalk in it from all the flour underneath the sauce, totally unedible. It ruined our weekly pizza night with the in laws. The owner was not there but was told it was really busy ???
