The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Dorset South West

I was fortunate as the much maligned “Grumpy “ landlord was in fine form & most convivial. The hospitality was first rate, the premises excellent with good beer & even the guard-dog demanded attention & a belly rub. I would thoroughly recommend this venue. Only negative was the entertainment; England v Scotland which was pants !

Great evening once again! Met up with friends just before Christmas, great food, all freshly cooked and reasonable prices. The staff were excellent, polite and friendly. The house red was good and went down well too!

Myself and my wife’s local Italian. Top notch delicious food. Marvellous friendly efficient staff. No waiting but also unhurried, generous portions, great value. I’m looking forward to taking our friends there when they’re down staying with us in a few weeks. …. Thank you chianti 🙂👍

Good food, first time back at this restaurant in 20 years, good food, very good portion sizes. Wasn't too sure about the beer selections, two beers on tap were John Smiths and Carlsberg not what you expect for an Italian Restaurant.

We visited with some friends for the first time today. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We’ll be back.

Wonderful Georgian building. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was tasty. Great choice for Gluten free and vegan. Overall very happy!
