The best restaurants serving Italian food in Rother South East

This restaurant has turned into our 'go to' venue for a night out when an Italian meal is called for. The food is created with enthusiasm and care and the service always bright and breezy. If you have wondered about it, can I suggest you give it a go - I'd be very surprised if you didn't enjoy your visit. The menu has great classics and some new twists as well.

Dropped in for lunch since we know the Simply Italian at Eastbourne and it's the same menu and style. Waitress was very charming and helpful but , dare I say it? , the pizza wasn't as good as Eastbourne, but still very good. My usual is marguerita plus pepperoni, and there was a more generous portion of pepperoni but the pizza was a bit 'wetter' underneath so I had to use a knife and fork. But still, love having fresh pizza out of the oven - you can't beat it.

Flavours are lovely, but the last two times we have ordered the pizzas have been cold, not late delivery but cold

This authentic Italian restaurant has a very impressive choice of dishes. We loved the mussels and fish, The staff were very friendly and attentive to my elderly parents. One of the best restaurants in Bexhill. Grazie mille!

Best vegan pizza I have ever eaten. My husband, who normally doesn't like vegan food, split it with me, and he agreed it tasted great. Delicious oat milk latte too. And my server Jane was delightful.

The food has no flavour what so ever and everything was dry! The main host stephano I think his name is? Was very touchy feely with all the women including his youg female waitress! Was extremely disturbing and off putting. I heard he hires young girls and acts very weird around them. So please don’t ever work there. Disgusting. Update for your reply, you think it’s okay to put your hands/arms around peoples waist etc…you know exactly what I mean. You touch female staff constantly & touch customers!

I enjoyed the evening with friends and the Battle Bonfire procession outside. Service wasn't great, and the food a little over priced for what you get. My vegetarian pizza was easily nicer than my fellow diners'. They weren't busy inside, so forgetting things we asked for wasn't great.
