The best restaurants serving Italian food in Milton Keynes South East

We’re staying at the hotel, which was very good! However, our festive meal was booked in this restaurant. Three courses for the best part of £40.00 Starter….was ok, basically toast with tomatoes on it! The main course - steak…..with about 8 (frozen chips), two cherry tomatoes. The steak was tiny and should have been medium rare……it was like boot leather and had no taste whatsoever. It was in a word …..pathetic. Then the peppercorn sauce, we had to remind our servers that the steak came with this…did not turn up for ten minutes after the meal was served. Desert…..Three scoops of sorbet and ice cream…..you can’t really get this wrong! Luckily, this was a work event and not paid for by me….however, this reflects badly on Marco Pierre White and can say easily the worst steak I’ve ever had……rubbish

Horrible experience. My family moved recently in town and we were trying restaurants around but this was horrible. We were served by young girl with long black dark hair, nothing professional or accommodating. She meet us on the door without any nice greeting. Food was bland pasta no taste watery and could do more seasoning. My husband garlic bread was burned in middle and when we complained the answer was that’s how we cook it in prezzo. Which was little bit rude. I asked for managers details or phone but the waitress told me to call next day in store. I’m polish myself and I think the waitress wasn’t English too but she was very rude to foreigners. Even like customers we were treated very bad. The food was rubbish and we payed all. Never again in this restaurant.

Booked a table for four for my niece's 14th birthday, at her request. My partner and I always take her and her brother out on their birthdays and try to make it as special as possible. Upon arrival, we were offered a seat by the door and I asked if we could sit away from the draught, to which they accommodated us without fault. I've said in other reviews numerous times how I always ask to be seated away from the door and it's my gauge of an establishment as to how they handle it. If they're awkward, we usually leave now, as they're then awkward for the rest of the experience. But Prezzo was more than happy to seat us further in the restaurant. I handed over the cupcakes to the lovely waitress at the start and she was prompt in taking our orders. Prezzo prices are always eye-watering but this was a special occasion and my niece specifically asked to go here, so I didn't mind so much. The food arrived and the starters were tasty, and the mains were all eaten. My pizza wasn't very nice and the waitress was more than happy to refund the entire thing, which I was very grateful for. After our plates were taken away, the waitress and several others appeared with my niece's cupcakes on a plate with 'happy birthday' written in chocolate sauce, and we all sang happy birthday. Which I thought was very kind and really thoughtful. It embarrassed my niece endlessly but my partner and I were very pleased with this type of service. Overall, I don't personally rate the food in Prezzo, especially not for the prices - BUT, the atmosphere is great, the service is even better with every staff member I've interacted with being helpful and kind, and everyone else I dine with enjoys the food. And that's what's important in my opinion. Added: I went here previously in 2023 for my father-in-law's birthday with the whole family (12+ people) and they accommodated us perfectly. Also, they're always happy to pack up any food you don't eat so you can take it home with you!

Very busy on arrival, but we were given a table, initially okay, took our order, we asked for my daughters starter to come with the mains but it came well before everyone elses food which took an incredibly long time to arrive, I appreciate they were busy initially but it was starting to quieten down. But then things just got worse, the staff consistently ignored us, they never did clean our table of our mains or starter plates. I had to constantly get their attention to get service, they were more interested in cleaning and getting ready to close up than serving their existing customers even though there was well over an hour until they closed. After constantly chasing I gave up on sweets and tried to get their attention to leave (our kids wanted to go to bed) but still they wouldn't come over. So we got up to leave, surprisingly then they shot over at which point I asked they cancel the sweets and just give the bill. Then they ran around for another 5 minutes not telling us what was going on and then said our sweets were ready when we were already stood up and trying to leave - I told them to take them away and bring the bill as I'd originally asked. No apology, my daughter didn't even get her sweet which should have been included for free in her childs meal. Will never go there again. Avoid - go there at your peril.

Have been eating takeaway from Romanellis for years. All of a sudden , despite charging £5 for delivery, an order is cancelled because of a £45 min charge. As I didn't notice this as the order was accepted, I have a family left hungry. Disgusting behaviour . Avoid.

Fabulous!! A huge plate full of piping hot, fresh food with fantastic service from Jaoa. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend. F&B @ Xcape, Milton Keynes
