Great Gelato in Milton Keynes

We visited Great Gelato Stony Stratford on Saturday 5th April, our daughter was looking forward to the French toast that she saw on the website. Unfortunately when we got there we were told they are not making french toast anymore, a little disappointed we asked for a waffle instead. My husband and I were shocked to see no vegetarian options for brunch and requested if any of the 3 sandwiches can be made without meat. The lady on the till said it should be fine however after a few minutes another lady informed us that it was not possible to make any vegetarian sandwich! I couldn’t believe my ears, never have I heard of such nonsense- how difficult is it to put some cheese and salad on bread?! I don’t know ANY restaurant that doesn’t have at least 1 vegetarian option these days. We were celebrating a birthday and left highly disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Friend and I visited for coffee and cake. There was a selection of chocolate brownies - they were very thin, I chose the fattest, it was over-sweet and quite dry. At almost £4 very overpriced. My coffee was fine but friend’s was ‘half foam’.

Great coffee and super friendly staff. Nice choice of cakes and snacks too. Good interaction with the staff. Had some fun with them.

Amazing family run gelato parlour! Lovely people, delicious treats and they often run little activities for the kids.
