Fabulous!! A huge plate full of piping hot, fresh food with fantastic service from Jaoa. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend. F&B @ Xcape, Milton Keynes

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Ordered the cheese burger and a side salad. All perfectly adequate. Service quick and efficient. Very noisy as so busy.

Took the kids for a 1/2 term treat, waited 40 minutes for our food. When it arrived the chicken burger was basically cold, my daughters salad was uninspiring and my 4 cheese pizza was basically just a base, no sauce with just a tiny sprinkling of mozzarella, other 3 cheeses completely missing! Waiter was good and very apologetic, but even with a voucher, was definitely not worth the £60 we paid. Won’t be back!

We booked in advance just incase it was busy , when we arrived we had to wait around 5 minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy. Food was pretty much what you would expect although the service was a little slow 2 hours from sitting down to leaving. All in all ok but i always find this restaurant chain a little overpriced for what you get .

Took a visit to yourself on sat lunch time welcoming was not good stood there for 5 mins before approach sat down wait a while before asked for drinks we decided on food was not happy as my hubby wanted the chicken burger but could not have as the mayo is all mixed in with the salad already dont think that very good not every one likes mayo ect so went for pizza I had burger it was cold but was not in mood to complain as already got bad vibe about the place so just ate it and left will not return again

A complete no go ordered takeout 45 mins from the collection, you give your details as well in case there's problems. I get there and ask if they can make sure my chips are warm this time or freshly cooked I was told yes, I said "last two times they tasted like cardboard which suggests they have been sitting or warmed up, the lady said "probably yes" enough said ay. She went and came back and said they didn't have the burger id ordered hahah oh no, what a joke ay. Got my money back and left, I wouldn't eat here, defo not a this restaurant. The staff don't care, the company doesn't care and the staff are a true case of a corporate mindset killing the individual, the staff are like zombies with no will to carry on!

We went here because Nando’s was too full. So glad we did. I had the best burger and chips EVER!! Fries were so tasty and crunchy and the burger had heaps of flavour. The decaf cappuccino was also hot and a delicious way to end the meal. Service was so polite, friendly and swift. My family also rated their good as great. Would definitely go back.

We visited on Christmas Eve. It was busy and therefore the service was a tad slow, but as it was Christmas Eve - we could not complain!I was disappointed with my Pina Colada cocktail, the glass was small and it was mostly froth and ice! For nearly £6, i would say it was worth half that price!!The best thing was the festive menu as the Brie and Cranberry burger was very tasty! Please keep this burger on the menu, year round!

Well we had to wait to be served on arrival as the staff were chatting, should've realised then, but our son was hungry. We were shown to a table for the 5 of us, only to have to move, as the children behind us were climbing over chairs and bagging on the backs of our chairs, the staff didn't tell them to calm down and so we moved. We then waited 45mins for our food, very disappointing, worst one we have been in.

We went for lunch today and we were appalled at the quality of the food. I had a lasagne and you had to hunt for anything that resembled any meat. My husband and stepdaughter had a steak which was supposed to be medium rare but were over done and dry. We sent one back but it took forever for a replacement to arrive. There were many things on the menu which were out of stock which caused great disappointment for the grand children. And the portions from the children’s menu were a disgrace.

Been there last week absolutely amazing food... Awesome service even the potions was really good for the money that you pay I will return again.

We’ve been to F&B;’s loads of times having moved from London. We really like the food, the decor but I really rate their customer service.

We really had a great time! Visited today with my family during lunchtime. Our waitress, Elena and the manager were very lovely and helpful and made our visit very pleasant. The food was great! Everything fresh and very tasty! The kids loved their desserts! Definitely coming back and would recommend!

My experience mirrored the other poor reviews. The list of unavailable items on the door didn’t tell the full story - further items were unavailable once we tried to order them, with other items seemingly constructed from whatever they had left.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant before going to the cinema on a Friday night. We were appalled by the service there! It was terrible - will never be going back!

We visited at a lunch time ,and had various dishes from pasta to pizzas and a children's menu ,all was served hot and of good size portions .my God daughter favorite was the chocolate brownie s which she had 3 portions , cost over all was reasonable and service was good even though they were missing a few staff .the meals were cook well and the young lady who served us was very happy and we'll trained.seven though she was under pressure, she still did well a credit to the restaurant . We would visit again .when in area .

The sign on the door which said they were out of pizzas and a number of other items on the menu should have raised a red flag. However we were hungry and the kids wanted to eat there.

Four of us had mains and beers for £60 reduced to £40 with the Meerkat 2 for 1 deal.

To be honest had I taken a picture of my plate you would have been able to count the chips all of 20 chips- not just my order but also my friends. Little choice of lager, waiter needed to keep disappearing to check on items. We were halfway through our meal when the fourth member of our party got theirs.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was not busy but was warned the food would take about 45 minutes, we were happy with that so was seated. It all started well, drinks and food order was taken quite quickly and starter came out quicker than expected. It was OK portions were good and food was hot. This is where it started going wrong. Plates were cleared I tried to get someone’s attention to order a drink, it took a while to catch someone’s eye but got the order in just before the mains arrived. No cutlery so had to catch someone’s else attention. 15 minutes into the mains just as we were finishing the drinks arrived but was thirsty so took them. 10 minutes after that they arrived again. So I had to send back.

Had a lovely meal here, waitress was helpful on advising from their new menu. Food was hat and very tasty

It is closer to a fast food restaurant than a normal one. Starters are a bit oily, cooked quick. Pizzas are big but not well cocked, bread is not cooked ... Ribs (whole ones) are not that big but tasty .

Frankie & Benny’s use to be a place of great style food and with a fantastic atmosphere. I think you can get loads better from a food van at side of the road.

I found the food quite unhygienic. There was a hair inside it and the mix of pork and beef was absolutely upsetting. I used to find this place amazing and fun to go to and I came with my friends today and the service was horrible. The waiters kept getting our orders wrong, placed it in the wrong places no matter how many times we told them, one of our meals even went to the wrong table! I hope if I come here ever again it’s better.

Had a dry looking hotdog that cost a fortune and it arrived in a basket and paper. Not worth the money. Tasteless and tacky

In GunwharfQuays, F&B; is situated right next door to the cinema. We had an excellent meal which was great value as well. We were served by Dana who was really lovely.

One of the worst meals I have been served. Frankie and bennys was once my favourite place to eat. However the last two times I have been to eat it's been getting progressively worse followed by today which was the worst experience cold food,cold tea and no real hurry to rectify the problem. We went with family to celebrate mothers day and a 6 year olds birthday,none of whom enjoyed any of it. I'm so disappointed won't ever be going back.

I Ordered a meatball pizza and when it arrived there were no spheres of meat anywhere on my pizza....if it had said contains tiny morsels of a meatball that wouldve been more honest. Deceitful uh!! Feeling ripped off

Family weekend away for a birthday. Food good but not the best I've ever had. State of the toilet not good as looked like someone had been sick in it and missed the pan with most of it. Overall service lacking. Wont be heading back anytime soon

I came here for breakfast with my daughter when she visited me from Worcester. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived so there was no waiting and we were sitting at a table relatively quickly. Nice atmosphere and pleasant decor. No annoying loud music playing, although I did notice some when I went to use the toilet, but it didn't impede conversation. Friendly but not over-familiar waiter who did his job efficiently and unpretentiously. I don't like waiting staff to be over-friendly as it can become annoying. I ordered a Breakfast Stacker, which consisted of a ciabatta filled with sausages, bacon, hash browns, cheese and fried egg and served with crispy herb potatoes. More than sufficient to satisfy my hunger. I also had a latte, as good as any from a coffee shop such as Costa or Starbucks.

Visited on Saturday 26th jan 19 with family. Quickly seen to by staff for drinks and food order.. waitress was very pleasant.

Environment = messy , litter and debris, used cutlery , food on floor , no one swept up in the 2 hrs. we were there , new customers treading in the rubbish left on floor by previous parties of people. Upstairs toilets just as un kept , with holes in ceiling around really dirty pipework.

Turned up and stood waiting at the door. Bar smiled and did nothing

We went here for a quick meal. The last time we visited we weren't impressed. This is a family restaurant so that's what you should expect. Children's parties etc. Don't expect a quiet romantic meal.

Had a lovely lunch with family in frankie and Bennys after a trip to Gravity. Service was quick and staff friendly and patient.Was only a couple of other tables occupied which I was surprised at as other frankie and Bennys I have visited have been very busy at that time of day. Overall everyone enjoyed themselves.

I visited on Saturday evening with my family. I'm really pleased to say that I'm 100 procent happy with food (Bbq ribs Yummy )as always perfectly done.Drinks tasty and nicely presenTed. And of course services lovely, happy and very friendly lovely girls Becky and Weronika. You make my evening. Thank you for that, definitely I will come back.

Had a lovely meal out with family and friends for a birthday. Sammy (our server) was incredibly friendly and ensured we had a great evening.

Came here because there was a gluten free burger my daughter was craving and she was not disappointed. Burger was in a bun and came with a jacket potato. We also ordered a foot long hot dog which my daughter opted to have with salad , the hotdog was nice but the salad was on the same plate and had dressing on it which had made the bun soggy. But the hot dog was nice. I had arrabiata pasta and that was sadly disappointing. Best thing - with a student card you get 20% discount!

We went on Christmas eve with our children for a special breakfast. Sadly it turned out to be a shocking breakfast. We all ordered pancakes, the children had strawberry and syrup and we had bacon and syrup, we specifically asked if the bacon was streaky and ordered on the basis that it was. When it arrived (on cold plates) the pancakes had been microwaved into rubbery inedible bullets, the "streaky" bacon was burnt back bacon and when I highlighted this the waitress said that the "streaky bacon" was "back bacon but cooked more" and offered to have it cooked futher, we declined. My syrup pot was empty also. Our kids had one rubbery pancake with a strawberry sliced and shared between both them. Really poor value. I did complain and some items were removed from the bill but I wouldn't consider returning.

Revisited after a few years and really disappointed to see once a good place with poor service with staff that can barely speak English and with very little customer service skills.

I've given f&b;'s plenty of chances hoping that the food would change but it hasn't.

Had a really nice experience in Frankie and Bennys at MK xscape this morning. I only ordered an ice cream for my two kids to share after trampolining at Gravity but service was quick and friendly.

This Frankie and Bennies has managed a achievement that I thought was impossible. That achievement was to serve worse food than its name sake in my home town of St Neots.starters cold, Main meals over cooked and tough and an arrogant manager who says the food served is great. The menu selection is now very limited and resembles a Little chef. Will not return to the brand anymore

We visited here in September and was a mediocre visit. This time our server was fab Mario I think) the general manager was really great also.

Not a fan of big chains really but my daughter liked Frankie and Bennys in the past so I thought why not.

Slow service yet the place was not busy and plenty of staff about, the burger was dry and small but tasted OKish it was not worth the price.. Pasta and meet balls was ok but nothing id order again. For £20 id rate it average, for the £36 I paid (with no alcohol) I'd say this is very poor.. I'd rate a macdonalds much higher, wish I'd stopped in there..

Greeted and parked on a table... time passed, watched the two servers wafting about, not once did either of the look to our table. Put all our menus down green side up, thinking that may be the scheme. Time passed... we left. The next place did it right. I wonder if we had our drinks and starters there before Benny and Beanies noticed we'd gone?

Noisy venue, rowdy people all around and found it impossible to hear others at the table. Disappointing food, not the real American burgers I am used to in the USA. Lack of choice for soda fountain drinks.

Attentive staff and the food was excellent. The garlic bread starter is huge and my salmon was delicious.

14.45pm and another busy Saturday afternoon shopping at the Centre MK. To escape the hoards, we head over to Xscape in order to find something to eat. With no queue outside Frankie & Benny's, that becomes our eatery destination. We were immediately seated and provided with our choice of drinks, our menu order taken not long after. With an ongoing love affair with Dough-balls, we opted for a new sharing starter, of the aforementioned which were accompanied by 3 dips, Garlic & Herb Butter, Pesto and an Italian Tomato one. When the dish was served my eyes began to bulge right out of my head. For a reasonable price of £8.99, we were presented with no less than 20 Dough Balls! More than enough to satisfy the 2 of us, and then some. we weren't disappointed. They were hot and delicious, a perfect way to get your metabolism going. Being a non-meat eater, for my main, I opted for another new item on the menu, the Skinny Vegi Pizza, which is half the size of a regular 10", but comes accompanied with a wonderfully dressed salad, just what the Doctor ordered following our carbohydrate loaded entrée. The flavours on both were smashing and highly recommended particularly if you are bored of being given bland vegetarian dishes all the time. The shake my partner ordered to accompany his food has to be one of the most indulgent and delicious things I have ever tasted ever! I am talking about the Black Forest Shake, an adult's only beverage as it contains Kirsch, but well worth the hefty £6.79 price-tag. It is to die for, simply DIVINE! If I had to choose a final meal, ever, it would definitely be part of it, with knobs on! Our dessert choice was also a relative new-comer to the Frankie & Benny's food repertoire, Blueberry Delight Waffles, complete with a scoop of moreish vanilla ice cream. We shared this final dish, as per usual, and despite having appeased our respective appetites, we wanted more. On this occasion, the staff were exceedingly pleasant, efficient and catered for our every need. We spent a total of £45.64, before tip, but left with smiles on our faces having enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere in their entirety. We will be returning.

I went to Frankie & Benny’s with my brother in law for the first time for Breakfast. Although you do get to use your tastecard it really wasn’t worn the effort.

Visited today 8.8.18 with my two sons one being 11 months one being 5. We was left for half an hour before being asked for a drink ordered food at same time, food came quick but burnt and tasteless. Babies food was cold.

Came to eat breakfast with some friends and had maybe the worse service and meal ive ever had at Frankie and bennys.

Visited this site with young grandson under 2. Staff friendly and helpful, gluten free menu available and provided. Food arrived in good time, both adults had burgers ( 1 gluten free) and kids meal provided. Pizza base for kids meal looked like gluten free which is really good idea. Plenty of parking outside and goo location within Xscape. Discount taken with Frankie and Benny's app.

First time I've been here. Came first thing in the morning and ordered the vegetarian English breakfast.

When we visited it was very quiet but had to wait a long time for starter then had to ask where it was. Disappointing Vega burger.

We called in here before going upstairs to watch Jurassic World. I must admit I was very apprehensive as the F & B in Northampton is absolute shocker. Well to our amazement greeted by immaculately dressed waiting staff who were pleasant and courteous and spoke perfect English. Throughout our visit they were attentive and always checking we were happy with our food. We all had starters and main course and a couple of drinks each. There were 4 of us and the bill was £98 which I thought was good value. Honestly speaking the food was average but edible and only deserved a 3 but the service was that good I have given a 4. I also gave them a sizeable tip to in cash.

Went here with the kids for our last evening in Milton Keynes. The service was brilliant, and the food was just amazing! Would definately recommend here, and will be back!

As a person who is gluten intolerant I was impressed when I was given a separate menu instead of having to pick through the regular one, I ordered the GF bacon cheese burger, can't go wrong or so I thought.... clearly the burger bun was frozen and defrosted (could have hammered a nail in a wall with It!).. then the options are to accompany the brick like burger bun... jacket potato OR side salad OR corn on the cob(jacket and side salad would have been nice) when it arrived it was practically a childs portion... too much to ask to have a normal sized meal? Clearly, so if like me you are gluten intolerant do yourself a favour and don't eat here!!

Family of 14 and telephone booked. Fortunately the place was quiet at 1630 as reservation not in book. After that all went well. Food came out in a timely manner and all at same time. No complaints and waiter very pleasant.

Went there for a meal in March, big mistake. Service is excellent. Food probably the worst I / we have ever had. We paid for the meal to avoid any fuss in the restaurant, we all make mistakes in life. My advice , if you are in the Xscape there are loads of places to eat, keep walking past this one. We returned food due to being under cooked, another bung in the microwave cured that. It was then dried out. Contacted their head office twice after this meal, they couldnt care less.

Ate here yesterday, following the cinema. You cannot go wrong with a Frankie & Benny’s right?... wrong!!!The food was sub standard. I watched the chef cook the food and literally just chuck it on the counter, ready for the server to collect, where they piled up to get cold. Which the waiter collected when he had finished on his phone.

I love love love this place, it is mine and my partners go to restaurant while at Milton keynes, we must eat here twice a month at least. We always come back because the staff are fantastic! Miri always stands out, he manages the place amazingly, and nothing is too much to ask, i always like chicken added to their bbq&avacado; wrap and they do it for me,just ask and you will get! I have never had a bad experience here, breakfast and dinner alike. Huge portions, amazing options, thank you guys! From your loyal customers Alisha and chris :)

Reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical about this branch but we much enjoyed our food and the service was okay. Maybe needs a little more attention to detail but over all everyone was happy.

Frankie and Benny's used to be my favourite place to hunt out when looking for eateries while visiting different places. You were guaranteed a good meal, reasonable prices and good atmosphere.

A busy Saturday afternoon, at the end of the School Half-Term and we were ravenous. We opted to try a venue I had only ever previously visited once before, many, many, moons ago, but my partner hadn't. With nobody waiting at the door, probably due to the fact that it was well past lunch-time, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy, filled with a mixture of families and couples, as well as groups of friends but there were plenty of staff on-hand to attend to every customer. From the moment we stepped foot inside we were both taken by the comfortable atmosphere and pleasant décor and the employees all looked extremely dapper in their smart uniforms. We were pleasantly surprised. We were swiftly asked what we wanted to drink and whether we were ready to order which we were. A starter of Double dip dough-balls to share, followed by a Capresse salad for me and Spaghetti with meatballs for my partner, with a side order of fries. Our food was delivered extremely promptly and tasted delicious. Our waiter made sure that we were content with our order and as to whether or not we required any additional condiments. The attention to detail as a whole was superb. We couldn't resist selecting a desert, which once again we were allowed to share, something which is always nice to have as an option. The bill was as expected, not exactly cheap, however, due to the food quality and portion sizes we were extremely satisfied and left with smiles on our faces. Many thanks to the staff who made our visit so pleasurable. We are already planning our next F & B trip and I for one can't wait.

This must have been the worse restaurant chain food we have ever experienced. Chicken Caesar salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with dressing and chicken on top, no more. Pasta dish was pasta with a tin of crushed tomatoes, no flavour. Even with the Cineworld 25% off it was over priced. Never again.

The usual F&B; fare, cooked very well and served by nice, friendly staff.

Once sat at our table, it was 40 mins until food was placed in front of us. We watched it be placed on the hot counter once the chef had made it. Several staff were wondering around aimlessly, walking past our food. When it finally arrived to us it was cold. Having worked in hospitality ourselves we were not very impressed with the staff!

It is with a heavy heart I write this review because despite the review I'm about to give and the experiences had, there's still apart of me that wants to love F&B's.However every time my partner has convinced me to give them another try it's just bad. The food is fairly good so that's a plus however the service is such a let down.Mostly it's just the speed, you'll be waiting for along time for something and it's either to be served, waiting for food/drinks or the bill.However the number 1 reason I even wrote this review is the rudeness of one of their senior waiters. The first time I encountered him he slammed the bill down on the table, then got annoyed I had no told him I had a discount card. I at this point had only just finished the meal and hadn't even contemplated dessert let alone asked for a bill.A different time we waited over 15 minutes for our order to be taken, I asked the same member of staff "we've been waiting a while for the order to be taken and have a film at X time, could you advise how long the food will take? " to which he replied in his most snarky time "the normal time" tried to explain that without knowing what normal time is however he just rolled his eyes at me so we left.The final time we went this member of staff wasn't around however the service was still extremely slow even when we asked for the bill as we needed to leave we had to go up to the bar to force through the payment.Food wise my partner said she enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and I overall I likedthe calzone however the toppings were not evenly distributed which lead to quite a few empty bites.

We were a largish group, after we ordered drinks it took 30 minutes for them to arrive, starters were Ok but most of us ended up with a lukewarm main meal.

We visited F&B;'s on sat lunchtime. It was very quiet so the service was excellent. Really good menu as always. I really like this place.

Very helpful, friendly and speedy service. The restaurant was very clean, welcoming and reasonably bus. The food was typical of this type restaurant, good but not great but tasty and obviously freshly cooked.

Turned up at about 7 on a Wednesday evening. Fairly quiet and lots of empty tables. We was told to wait at the bar for a table. About 5 minutes later, the waiter took us to our table. Leo took our drink order straight away and went away and left us without menus. We then had to try and get hold of menus. Eventually after a couple of minutes, we got his attention! Drinks took around 5 minutes to arrive. Placed our food order. It took around 15 minutes for starters and around 10 minutes for mains after our starter plates had been collected. The presentation of the mains wasn’t good at all and was actually a little disappointed. Decent portion and the food was very hot but presentation was poor. We noticed just our little staff they had. 2 chefs and 1 desert chef and 2 floor staff members. I think there should of been at least one more waitress and Chef on. With some small improvements I would recommend.

Item number 4 of the customer journey training, is advise customers if non availability of any items on the menu when they sit down, before ordering food as there were lots of items unavailable. Other than that, staff were reasonably friendly and service was okay.

Very disappointed with our visit last night. Only 2 servers were working so service was slow but we had been told that at start so no major problem to us, I ordered the spaghetti Bol. It was horrible. Spaghetti hadn't been drained properly and was swimming in water, bolognise sauce was watery and tastless and there was hardly any of it. Wasn't impressed. Waiter did offer to reduce price by half as I couldn't eat it but as we already had voucher for third off we didn't bother. When there are so many other eateries at the stadium we won't be rushing back.

Went in just after 12 on a Thursday lunchtime. It was a disaster. There was one waiter looking after the whole place and one other bloke, possibly manager of some kind, helping as well. Service was obviously slow, food, photo attached of my garlic bread which looks inedible and 2 other diners complained about their food while we were there. Slow service meant food left waiting until the waiter could get round to serving it. He did his best but 2 people only at a lunchtime, someone's trying to save money somewhere. Won't be going back....

I had booked a table with my friends for a Friday night. We were seated and ordered sufficiently. Two of us had a pizza the other the mushroom burger. The pizza wasn't done at all still white around the edges not brown and crispy. Got an extra portion of chips served on a side plate? No bowls that night I'm afraid. Waited for a second glass of wine for a long time and eventually got it. Not great food and they wouldn't accept our 33% off voucher cloud as they said their machine wouldn't accept it. Would paw on visiting again.

Service was very good, first time had new menu very nice food, kids very happy. Booked another table for next week

We popped in this morning for an early lunch and I can assure you we won't be going back again. I ordered the butter chicken burger - it was raw inside. the boys had the kids chicken nuggets- I was assured by the waiter they are pre cooked "just in case" - but I am not convinced they were cooked either. Husband had a fry up - both that and his coffee were stone cold. toilets were disgusting and the hall way/stairs up to them were littered with pieces of toilet roll. I really don't think they'd been cleaned up from last night (it not before then) totally disgusting and I would argue dangerous place to eat - here's hoping we all avoid food poisoning.

Solid diner style menu. 5 stars for amazing service in a crisis...of sorts!I called in here with my 7 year old son before enduring Despicable Me 3.Having ordered a goat's cheese and avacado wrap for myself and pasta and cheesy sauce for my son, I suddenly realised I'd got the timing wrong and had just 15 mins until the film started. I mentioned this to our waiter who immediately went to the kitchen and returned within 2 minutes with both meals! Stunning service and the food was great. Just a shame we had to rush.A big thumbs up from my lad for saving the day.

Nice and fresh breakfast and quick service. Unlimited hot drinks. Menu quite good with lots of options to choose from. Reasonable prices. Waiters quite friendly but kitchen too noisy with chefs shouting!
