Romanelli Italian Food in Milton Keynes

Have been eating takeaway from Romanellis for years. All of a sudden , despite charging £5 for delivery, an order is cancelled because of a £45 min charge. As I didn't notice this as the order was accepted, I have a family left hungry. Disgusting behaviour . Avoid.

Ordered from here several times, the pizzas are beautiful, great toppings and lovely, soft doughy base. Sometimes takes a while to be ready but its worth it.

Tonight we experienced THE worst, awful attitude after waiting over an hour for food being told just wait 5 more minutes. One order was OK but no dipping sauce in the box. One order was modified to excluded olives, my partner cannot eat olives... No issue usually in over 10 orders over the last few months. Yes we have ordered the same order as we actually love the calzone and the service. Never an issue with any modification to an order BUT tonight we get told chef CANNOT modify a calzone, so next time order pizza! Can't modify a made to order calzone, but can modify a pizza...!?! Are you actually joking? If the food is fresh and made to order, why is that a problem? Then why, all of a sudden this shocking attitude? All I can assume is any topping that is added by mistake to a pizza could be picked off? And Chef would probably tell us to do that ourselves too! We won't be ordering again, this attitude is ridiculous. Abrupt, rude and couldn't care less. 5 stars to 1 star in one phone call. Very disappointed

Absolutely love Romanellis. Been back twice now and cant believe we havent been before now. If you are looking for authentic Italian pizza (i know everyone says this) but genuinely this is the place to go. My fiance is Italian and adores the pizza. The base is just insane. Tomato sauce on the pizza is the perfect balance of slightly sweet and savoury (if you know you know). Weve ordered pizzas, calzones, arancinis and wedges and making our way through the rest of the menu :) cant wait for our next takeaway.
