The best pizza outside of Italy, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Guido is a great host and you have to try the wine from his family vineyard, Badia a Coltibuono. Abbondanza!

Wonderful village pub, very dog friendly. They have a freshly made pizza menu, including options for us coeliac and gluten free humans - and the GF pizza bases are excellent.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Flora for such fantastic service. She was so welcoming and attentive, and made our evening. The food was delicious, however we found the veal a a little over cooked so we mentioned this to our waitress who promptly offered a replacement dish. Apart from this, the pasta dishes were delicious and I would highly recommend them, especially the carbonara. Thank you again Flora ❤️

I can't think of a time I have been made to feel more unwelcome in a cafe. We walked in just before 3 and noticed all of the empty tables had reserved signs on them, a little bit odd but we thought they'd prepped them for the next day. We ordered drinks and cakes and when asked where we sitting we asked where we were allowed to sit as all of the tables were either occupied or had reserved signs on them. We were told we couldn't sit at any table with a reserved sign on it because the table was closed. A table became available but it was full of dirty crockery and the height of the chairs wasn't suitable for those in our party with reduced mobility. We eventually negotiated a reserved picnic bench which I had to wipe down myself because it was covered in other people's food. Our drinks came out and were slammed on the table, with the latte nearly toppling over as the picnic bench wasn't quite level. The milk for my tea came in a tea cup which makes it difficult to pour without spilling it. As we weren't given any napkins I had to wipe spillages up with a tissue. Throughout our time there we were subjected to the sound of chairs noisily being slammed on top of the table as they closed more and more tables. Two parties of four left bemused without buying anything at 3:15 because they were told there were no tables available. There were plenty of tables available and the cafe is advertised as being open until 4. The cakes were nice, but the staff don't seem to like customers. We won't be returning. It's a real shame. We like the garden centre that it's attached to and like a coffee and a cake when we're out so we're probably just go to a different garden centre instead.
