I was really looking forward to coming to this restaurant however we won't be returning any time soon. I appreciate it was very busy but we waited for over an hour for our main course after our starter . We have too young children who were getting fed up and bored waiting. We were later told there had been a problem with our order in the kitchen, and if we had been told rather than waiting so long, we would have at least understood. There appeared to be a lot of new staff that needed guidance, and it appeared chaotic with service. I appreciate we booked late, but if you knew that it was overbooked, you should never have taken our booking. The food wasn't great the calamari was like rubber, the risotto rice soggy, and the meat balls undercooked. We have had much better experiences at Bella Italia which you don't expect that much from and our local on moseley common which is excellent.

Noisy, crowded, too many tables in a small room. Starters were ok, pretty basic. For main course had swordfish, which was ok (oily, tasting of nothing but garlic) but all it came with was a small side dish of veg - which were so undercooked the carrots were hard, let alone the broccoli which was raw. Will not visit again.

I went with a party of 12 at lunch time. The staff were lovely and food came quickly. Garlic bread between us. This was nice. Then starters. I had the pate. It was ok. Then for mains I had the risotto. It’s was extremely salty and I couldn’t eat it. The price was ok. We used the lunchtime menu. And it was set prices. £20 per person for 2 courses. I wouldn’t rush back though

I’ve been many times over the years, different locations but the coffee, food and choice of Italian groceries has remained first class. But most of all, the atmosphere is so Italian and the staff are the best. It’s my first choice place to go in Manchester regardless of location. Simply the best 🇮🇹

I had a booking for a party of 15. I confirmed the booking with the restaurant two weeks ago. Turned up last night to find it closed. Nothing from the restaurant to say they couldn’t honour my booking. No sign in the window. Nothing. Such a shame as I ate there a couple of months ago and the food was great. I won’t be going back if they reopen

I raved about this place to my husband but we were both disappointed, they have changed the menu and I was looking forward to my previous chicken dish with mushroom sauce and pasta but it wasn't on and the replacement wasn't as good,my husbands chicken was stringy The service was lovely and the staff very efficient

Fabulous tapas platter, absolutely delicious. Stupots offer a fantastic range of foods from sandwich’s to a Mediterranean delight! Delicious food, fantastic friendly service.

nice clean restaurant. we can't complain about the food there is great and tasty from home. and from my family. Michael & his Wife..has 5*****. plus we celebrated a birthday there and also a wedding anniversary and everything was prepared and as it should be, the people there are friendly thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Rude staff asked us if we wanted any more drinks before the bar closed so we ordered a bottle of wine. Half an hour later they told us we weren't allowed to drink the wine as they were closed🤷🏻‍♀️ Also weren't allowed to sit outside to drink the bottle of wine they had let us buy.

Food was excellent, 6 of us all had different food, starters, main courses, desserts were all excellent. Soup, pate, bruschetta. Sea bass, lasagne, chicken risotto and pasta. Tiramasu, ice cream, souffle! Everything beautifully served and delicious. Service and staff very friendly, and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This place was beyond fabulous, a treat on the eyes, the decor the staff and the drinks are stunning. I will be returning imminently for this 5* service. Tip top bosh
