This place was beyond fabulous, a treat on the eyes, the decor the staff and the drinks are stunning. I will be returning imminently for this 5* service. Tip top bosh

It was my first time in Monton so we decided to go to the first bar we saw on Monton road. We got a warm welcome and we immediately liked the decor of the bar. I really liked the vintage pictures and the bar was nice, clean and inviting. The vibe was great, good music was playing and I liked the candles that were lit. It was a good atmosphere. The staff was really friendly, Jade and Gabriella. The service was fast, drinks was delicious and we got some table service too which we was impressed with. Thank you we had a good night. 5* See you again soon :)

One of the classiest places along monton. I enjoy the friendliness of staff here and the high quality of drinks. It has a good atmosphere.

Really nice couple of drinks in here. More sophisticated than the rest of the bars along monton and they made a great porn star martini too. I liked the atmosphere but would’ve been nice to just have something more mood setting on the telly than the pointless quiz show they were showing ahah.

Looks great from the outside but the place is crap, overpriced and staff with attitudes that belong in somewhere like Mcdonald. Wish I could give the place a 0!

A good bar in the centre of Monton. Better than some of the other bars which have been created from former shop units and also not frequented by underage drinkers!

I love this place - when we go to Monton for a few drinks this is always our first point of call. They serve carafes of prosecco, great cocktails and a good range of draft beers and cider. The wine selection is also amazing - cannot recommend highly enough!

1/2 liter of proseco with my friend . Good price . Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff . Would definitely come back .

this is a nice bar for a drink or a cocktail but it gets very busy and it is only small inside. The bar selection is only small but the service is good and the drinks they do do are nice. A little pricey but it is a popular area so that is to be expected. They do some picky food but we didnt have anything.

Visited here today. Went for a drink before a booked Sunday lunch down the road. Really good service & wine was excellent. However, we returned after lunch to a very different bar. The first member of staff was involved in creating a very intricate meat platter for a customer - I would have thought that at busy periods such as a sunny Sunday afternoon that this would have been pre prepared elsewhere & not taken up the time of busy bar staff? The other barman was obviously inexperienced & blatantly served customers who had just arrived rather than myself who had been waiting up to 5 minutes!! I asked for Rioja & got rose!! When he attempted the Rioja I was astounded that he was unable to extract the cork from the bottle - really??? When I commented to another customer that the service was horrendous the guy STILL preparing the platter was quite offended!! After eating & drinking in bars a & restaurants around the globe this is not the sort of service I expect 2 miles away from my home. Sort it out Enoteca - lovely place - but you really need to up your game. Get some experienced staff in on days when you know it’s going to be busy - ie when the weather is good!

Love Enoteca. Good wines with reds served at optimum temperature. Always a great atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Expect to be cosy as bar is small and popular

Visit many times as the wines on offer are all good value but also the quality is high. Even the house wine is very palatable and decently priced from around £16 per bottle. I like the reds and they range from £16-£25 . The Cabernet Sauvignon at £19.95 per bottle is also really good value. The deli boards are also a great touch, very nicely presented and really tasty. On my recent visit I was enticed by the latest Gin menu. The list was fabulous with a range of approx 8 gins could be more and all with recommended Fever Tree tonics. The descriptions were so enticing, you could easily start at the top and work your way down as everyone had an appeal. I would also like to mention the bar man , I think his name is Andrew who keeps you returning time and time again. He is very professional but friendly as well, and his knowledge of drinks and cocktails is very impressive. He is a true asset and has great customer service skills. Quite rare to find these days. The atmosphere and lighting is just on point, although the bar is small and being popular the seating can be an issue sometimes . But i wouldn't let this stop you from trying Enoteca, it has a certain Je Ne Say Quoi

We come to this bar all the time, at least 3 times a week and we love the atmosphere and the staff (especially Zack, who isn’t miserable at all!).

We visited in the week for a drink, the wine options were very good and delicious. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be back.

I have always enjoyed the staff and quality of products here. The atmosphere can be great. You can tell the team pride in there work.It’s a shame this place is let down by management as it’s getting really scruffy. Most of the bar stools are falling apart, there is mould on the walls and it has the worst outside seating on Monton. On hot days me and my family have been forced to drink elsewhere doe to not enough chairs. Over the past two months my wife has been trapped in the toilets twice, due to faulty doors! I don’t usually complain but health and safety. What if it was a kid?As a regular I feel let down that there is no urgency to improve the customers area, which is a shame because this place has the potential to be the smartest bar in the village.

Called in here for a drink at lunch time and tried some olives and houmous with flat bread. Very lovely bar and the lady serving was polite and served us promptly. Food was delicious and fresh.

En la noche del miércoles me reuní con amigos para celebrar un cumpleaños. Habíamos estado allí desde las 7 de la tarde y habíamos disfrutado plentifully frizzante. Hacia el final de la noche más tarde había sólo 3 de nosotros, veamos en el bar. Preguntamos si podíamos conseguir una copa, pero nos dijeron que dejaron de servir a las 11:00 pm. Ya eran las 10:57, pregunté por qué no me habían llamado los últimos pedidos. Nos dijeron que no llame últimos pedidos cuando estaba tranquila. Como un ex empleado de un bar local me pareció que era insatisfactorio el servicio al cliente y nada de lo que he experimentado como miembro del equipo de atención al cliente. Nos dijeron que habían cerrado la cultive y no podíamos beber. No tacaño disculpa, que hubiéramos recibido felizmente aceptó. Los dos empleados después comenzaron a reír y snigger bajo su aliento y cuando nos sentimos belittled vinieron detrás de la barra y empezaron a hablar de nosotros. tanto La chica rubia dijo que sentía intimidada pero nos sentamos y ella se destacó por encima de nosotros. Había otro hombre joven también trabajo que parecían miserables y era muy grosero sugiriendo que estábamos el problema. Como 2 de los 3 de nosotros habíamos experimentado servicio al cliente nos sentimos como el servicio que recibimos fue terrible y completamente inadecuado.

Reservé una mesa con el bono que compré, con 3 semanas de antelación. No hay mesa reservada cuando llegamos allí. Acabo arrinconada en la parte trasera de la habitación oscura. Nos molestase. . Acabamos tomando nuestro cupón de vuelta, el maleducado dijo que podría recuperar mi dinero. Cuando he ido a recuperar mi dinero está mostrando que he canjeado el cupón. Obviamente que han hecho porque no tienen comida. Muy pobre!

Mi hijo y mi nuera dio a mi compañero y yo un vale para Navidad que es válida hasta el 07 de marzo de 2017. Llamé Enoteca hace un par de semanas para reservar, pero me dijeron que no era necesario reservar sólo necesitaba venir con mi vale y el personal buscaría después de mí.

Gran bar - mejor en Monton. Ah, por cierto, este bar está catalogado en el Eccles y en realidad a 2 millas de distancia de Eccles, en Monton.

Y siempre viven en la Enoteca cuando llame por la noche en Monton. fabuloso personal amable y excelentes cócteles. Sólo desearía que era más grande!

First time visit. What a welcome. We didn't really know what we wanted. However john was absolutely brill at giving us ideas and explaining what was in each cocktail. Also offered to make us a tailor made if we couldn't find what we fancied. Such a friendly welcoming guy. John is an absolute credit to this place. Made our day. Thank you and see you soon. Xxxx

Lots of activity going on here, seemed a hit with all ages! Will be back here again. Such friendly staff, felt a really friendly spot to meet lots of new people.

Popped in on Thursday unaware that there was live music on and the place was packed. Great atmosphere and for a change a Monton bar was full of locals. It is often the case that Monton is busy but full of strangers and doesn't always feel welcoming. Yes the drinks are more pricey than other local bars but the service and live music made up for it on Thursday.

There's nowhere better in Monton for people watching, sat in the window watching the world go by is a Hobby I've been doing since this place opened. The staff are always friendly and can make a mean cocktail. They often have special offers on which helps as the prices are a little on the expensive side. Give it a go, as long as you don't take my seat!

Disappointed, normally love the vibe and the fabulous staff especially John. Just had a lovely dinner and wanted to end the evening at my favourite bar in Monton. Server didn't know how to make the cocktails on the menu

Just love this bar, I have been in numerous times. At night, at lunch time, early afternoon coffee and have never been disappointed.The cocktails are fabulous as are the superb cheeseboards that are available.Lovely friendly vibe!!!

We love dropping in here to sample a few of the wines on offer. Lovely atmosphere inside. Although the acoustics can be challenging when its busy.

Manager John is terrific and they have an excellent selection of wines and beers. Tom who works there is also so friendly and chatty.

Greeted by bartender who said he was called John?? working Saturday afternoon 23 April. Ordered two small glasses of wine to be charged £11.50 and before we had a chance to digest the high price, he took the glasses away and poured them back in the bottle. An exceptionally rude and impatient bartender that should not be working with the public. Think twice before going in this bar unless you are prepared to pay very high prices and to be served by rude staff.

This is a bar that has an extensive range of wines amongst other alcoholic beverages. Very nice subdued lighting and relaxing atmosphere and has seating to the rear of the property. Prices might be slightly more expensive because of the quality of the wine but a lovely experience. There was music being played in the background but the bar closes early on a Friday, not a regular so unsure whether this is the norm, they might only have a licence until 11.00pm.

This bar is in Monton, not Eccles, which is a couple of miles away. Easily the best bar in town. Always busy and lively. Even better in summer, when you can sit out on the wide pavements.

Some friends and I came in for a round of drinks on a bit of a walk round Monton on a miserable night. This bar was busy- standing room only, a good sign... Prosecco on tap, excellent sign- delicious! We decided we recognised the barman- did he work in town? It's lovely to see such nice bars in suburbia!! A friendly team behind the bar- we will definitely come back!

Only had drinks here, staff welcoming and friendly. Not sure if food is served only went for drinks, expensive compared with manchester but like the place , it's like a funky mini did spurt bar.

This is a great bar, great wine served in a nice glass, excellent nibbles and very nice staff. I Would recommend this bar to all, well worth a try

Visited this bat twice in December to sample the cocktails. Enjoyed all of them especially the porn star martini. Even better during happy hour 2 for £10.00. Best cocktails for miles. Will definitely be going back. Atmosphere nice, decor nice and staff friendly. What is there not to like.

Toilet far too small...I visited with friends we needed loo but found we could not get in as only one at a time... Bit of a tight squeeze....

Great place with Italian beer, wine and nibbles, great for couples of friends. They have lots of good wine choices and giant barrels used a tables, they have window seats and bar stools, great little bar in Monton.

Nice Italian wine bar! Visited after going for a meal with my partner, nice relaxed atmosphere. They have prosecco on draft which I think is great! Also the prices are affordable, nice to visit mid week rather then weekend.

Stopped by on the way out for drinks which were very reasonable and really large for medium. Sat by the window and people watched. The decor is different, liked the barrels. There is a larger room at the rear which we will try next time we are there. The staff were polite and friendly.

I think this is the best bar in Monton! The cocktails are amazing! The staff are lovely and friendly. Not a bad word to say!! Very happy customer :)

Everything especially the food.we sat outside on a really sunny day,the service was good.along with good food and beer what more could u want.

We were on our way home when we noticed this little wine bar and it hit the spot as it was way too early to be going home.We were lucky that it wasn't that busy as the seating is limited and it is small. That said, the girl behind the bar was friendly and delivered up a good glass of wine and a decent cappuccino (to begin with). The wine selection is good; the cocktails look very good and they also serve platters (which we understand are all cold but we could be wrong). We had eaten already but the food looked good, albeit maybe a bit overpriced.There is a selection of beer which we didn't even look at. There is a selection of tables and chairs but as said before a little small. We sat in high stools with a wall bar and even though it was comfy enough you wouldn't want to be sitting there all night. Not bad value for money and will be back.

Great bar just celebrating it's first year since opening. Italian theme. Very small, very friendly, very good. There is also room outside on the street which is great when the sun is shining. Another very welcome bar to Monton, which is thriving. Tends to get packed at the weekends!

And decided to pop in for a drink. Wines are still good and some interesting beers too. Draught prosecco.We decided to try the cheeseboard. Amazing value! Made for sharing but priced more like a single portion. Nice with hummus and olives to accompany at less than £17 the lot!Still think the internal layout lacks ambience. One member of staff was friendly today!

We visited early evening - good deal on the wine and the Meat Board was absolutely delicious - bit on the pricey side but plenty of varieties of breads and meat. Unfortunately the staff seemed more intent on chatting behind the bar than serving customers and were not exactly welcoming when they did - not very friendly at all and a bad advertisement for the bar. By about 8pm the bar was overcrowded and we could no longer speak at a comfortable level so we left - would go again for the food but not overly impressed.

This is a tiny wine bar with a very limited food offering but a fair selection of wines, cocktails etc. It does make a change to the usual pub environment. Monton has become Salford's Bohemian quarter and this place is a pleasant addition. Love all the local shops and eateries (except the Tesco extra!) on Monton Road. This is a good place for a pre-meal drink at one of the (several) local restaurants.I suspect its small size will impede its success. Certainly the back room with its "wall -shelf" tables and over prominent toilets needs a rethink. Very uninviting!But other than that, I wish them well and hope they get sufficient patrons to succeed.

Good selection of Italian wine, beer, Prosseco (by the glass), coffee and Antipasti boards are on offer in this new bar. It's a nice alternative to the other bars. It has a good feel with it's wine barrels for tables and some outside seating - a nice addition to a road that has a number of bars and restaurants.
