Amazing dining experience. Staff couldn’t be any more helpful or attentive. Food was to die for and so reasonably priced. Butter & Sage spatzel is to die for

Our third time at Diecast and another really nice evening out, on our first visit we got to meet Noel the owner and on each visit his friendly charm and customer service seems to be part of the ethos of the place as the staff are all so friendly & helpful. The offering on Sunday was pizza or Sunday lunch, as a family we ordered both and everything was just perfect. The place is warm and comfortable and a great venue. We will be back again soon!

I've seen this place serve Ethiopian food for a while now and always wanted to give it a go. I did just that the other day, ordering injera with vegetarian sides, as a takeaway. The injera were very filling, the sides were varied and tasty. The owners/staff were lovely and I felt it was extremely good value for money. I'd recommend anyone give this a go, I certainly will again.

This was an AMAZING meal. The food was hot and incredibly fresh/tasty. Lots of flavor depth. Ricardo (I hope I've gotten his name correctly!) was so kind and friendly, and made a great recommendation of the special arancini for the day. The atmosphere was really nice with all the plants and lights. We absolutely would come here again.

As an Italian teacher, I have organised many school trips here with our students. They absolutely love it. Franco, the chef, is brilliant with them, he speaks in Italian explaining how the pizzas are made and guides them through the process of making their own pizza. After choosing from the vast array of different toppings, Franco puts their pizza in the oven and then they get to eat it afterwards. As an Italian teacher having lived in Italy, I can honestly say that Double Zero pizzas are the best pizzas in Manchester. The pizza dough is authentically Italian and without speaking out of turn, I would say their pizzas are better than in Italy because instead of the standard choice of toppings, they are creative and inventive - the miele sizzler is my all time favourite (a pizza you'd never see on a menu in Italy!) The staff are so welcoming and can't do enough to help the students enjoy their experience. We love that we can come here with the students to bring what they are learning in the classroom to life.

We took our daughter for her birthday as its her favourite place we couldn't get in to our local Altrincham or sale so didsbury was our only option pizza was brilliant as always but the staff was extremely rude no click with kids or adult customers just walking about ignoring people talking to each other looking at there phones, we paid the bill in cash gave the waiter £70 for a £52 bill she just took the money and never returned with change, now two ways of looking at it Christmas 100% we would of got the £18 change and said put it in the tip jar but she had no intention of giving us our change nor to say thankyou very much merry Christmas they didn't even say bye thanks for coming or anything so can safely say we won't return to this branch not a drop on Altrincham branch

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service were friendly and welcoming. The food was piping hot and delicious. They did get the cocktail order wrong but, this was quickly resolved. Will definitely return next time we visit Manchester. Lovely, somewhat hidden gem that is away from the hustle and bustle and offers a quieter atmosphere to the larger restaurants in the surrounding area.

We were a large group and had pre-ordered our meals well in advance, but when we arrived, they had lost our pre-order. This already set the tone for what would be a frustrating evening. To make matters worse, not a single member of staff came over to serve us; we had to repeatedly ask for drinks, and when we did, the staff seemed annoyed and visibly angered by our requests. The attitude was appalling. We left a £10 deposit per person, and when we asked for the bill, they questioned the proof of payment and didn’t seem to believe us. Absolutely baffling. The quality of food was far below expectations. The cutlery was dirty, and the food was nothing like what was advertised on their social media. We waited over 2.5 hours for our main courses despite having pre-ordered. That’s unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that claims to offer a decent dining experience. When we finally received our meals, the steak I ordered well-done was served rare. When I pointed this out, the waitress returned with the exact same steak as if they just threw it back on the grill. We spoke to the manager about all of these issues, but he was rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. No apology, no offer of a discount, nothing. It was clear he couldn’t care less about the terrible service or food we received. All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.
