The best restaurants serving Indian food in Gabalfa Cardiff South Wales

Banana Leaf appears to be a newish Restaurant on this site. Previously Banana was here. That was very nice but they didn't open for lunch. Banana Leaf is definitely open for lunch as I went there today. It appeared quite busy which is always a good sign. I just went for the Masala Uthappam and a pint of Cobra. Ordered takeaway food twice before via Uber Eats from Panama Tandoori and I must say the food is superb! So impressed I went to the restaurant a meal and they didn't disappoint. Excellent menu choice, with excellent customer service. The jalfrezi is the best I've ever had and the vindaloo is also delicious! Will absolutely be ordering takeaway again and visiting in person again soon. Highly recommended.

Fabulosa comida callejera. As usual. Vale la pena visitarlo cuando esté en Cardiff. Uno de los muchos excelentes vendedores de comida en Cardiff Market.

Menú sencillo, comida deliciosa. Servicio rápido y un lugar para sentarse (gente impresionante mirando!). ¿Qué más puedes querer?

Said vegan on the menu - when it arrived it had an egg in it ! Owner started rudely arguing with me when I tried to point this out
