The best restaurants serving Indian food in Clifton York Yorkshire and The Humber

Sometimes Indian food from a takeaway can taste a bit 'samey' regardless of what curry you order. Here, it was very refreshing! The chef specials are definitely creative - chops hand was standout and the Keema pop fun! Quick service too.

Did not regret trying Royal spice take away , probably one of the best Indian meals I have had , will be ordering again soon , and not expensive prices either ,

Food is amazing, we have been going here 2 or 3 times a year since it opened and never had any complaints. This time, however, the service was appalling, we might as well have been sat in the car park. We had to ask for a second round of drinks. They took ages to clear our plates. We had to ask for a desert/hot drinks menu. They never came back to take orders for drinks/deserts. We asked for the bill and as always, we each paid our own bill by card. We have no idea what the problem was, they were pleasant enough, the restaurant wasn't busy so who knows.
