The best restaurants serving Indian food in Teignbridge South West

I have been here before, and always had excellent food and service. I had the Christmas Dinner Pie, which had turkey, pigs in blankets and stuffing. Probably the best pie I've ever tasted. I had baileys cheesecake and clotted cream ice cream for pudding. Highly recommend.

Went out for a birthday meal, always wanted to try this little indian restaurant. The owner, Mohammed was very attentive, friendly and professional. Ordered lamb jalfreezi and garlic lamb with special fried rice , poppadoms and dips. The food was excellent, and high quality. Well blended spices and tender lamb. Very generous portions and sensible prices. Service was very efficient, and restaurant is nice , clean and authentic. Would definitely recommend to visit , its worth it.

Delicious food, huge portions, lovely staff. Very friendly, enthusiastic and lots of laughter. Very accommodating. Just a small place so can be quite loud, because people are having a nice time. The house wine is also excellent quality!

Consistently great service for years, never disappointed

2 hours delivery is too long and second time it's happened. Tough lamb tonight too. 😔

Thank you to Freya, Marissa and all the staff for making a difficult day better. You were all so kind and courteous to everyone and it was all so well organised.The pub was warm and cosy and the buffet was delicious.

Arrived on time, piping hot delicious food

A truly shocking experience. Service was ok, I actually felt really sorry for them. Food was truly awful, lamb was grey, anemic and tough. Really poor vegetarian options. Naan was grim. Everything felt really synthetic and sweet. Felt like I stepped back into 1983 - hideous inside. A complete waste of money. Ended up with a kebab from across the road.

Glad we went here with my parents as first meal after moving to Bovey. Great friendly service, would totally recommend ‘Trevor’s’ curry. All food was cooked well and tasted wonderful.
