The best restaurants serving Fusion food in East of England

Upon entry to the restaurant, we were told there was a wait for our table of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults). Initially we were asked to wait to the side. Then a lady came along and told us we had to wait out side in the cold (1c) for up to 20 minutes as the front door was a fire exit. I get the H&S issues with blocking a fire exit (although I hope it is not the only one!), but we could have waited to the side safely. Instead they insisted that we wait out side. This is terrible customer service. I went elsewhere and will never visit this restaurant again and I will tell anyone I know going to Watford to steer clear.

I visited last night with my husband and had a wonderful evening. The Royal Tiger has been there for 22 years, which given the challenges the hospitality industry has faced speaks volumes. I was a little bit apprehensive about a fusion restaurant, but we sampled both Thai and Indian and it was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the coco prawn (Thai) and lamb shank (Indian). They’ve got a great cocktail menu- we had a marg and a pina colada. They do a range of Asian beers too. The staff are super attentive and friendly, and I noticed that most of the customers appeared to be regulars. They have great events and a dance floor. Will definitely return for an event

Lovely range of lunch snacks and amazing cakes. Very reasonable prices too. Nice location in the Market Square so great place for people watching
