The best restaurants serving French food in Barden Fell Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

An amazing restaurant, located in a beautiful area of the country. The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable and so friendly. The attention to detail in the food preparation is second to none. If you are ever wondering what that food tastes like on MasterChef, then come to The Angel at Hetton. The culinary tastes blew my mind. We had the A La Carte menu. It wasn't just three courses. There's far more to it than that! The accommodation is high quality, beautifully presented and very spacious. No, it isn't cheap to experience The Angel, but if a culinary experience is what you are looking for, very friendly staff, an amazing chef and beautiful accommodation, then look no further.

Awful meal I had lamb rump not to be recommended. I sent it back not something I have ever done before. They made a feeble excuse that they had changed their butcher which I’m afraid I did not believe I had high expectations I’ve known the Devonshire all my life and have been many times, but I’m afraid I wont be in a hurry to go again. We were celebrating my retirement so wanted to something a bit special but it will be memorable only for the poor meal I had. Come on Devonshire get your act together you can do better than this. Real shame because its a fabulous venue but certainly not up to scratch.
