A big portion of fresh haddock and chips that was cooked to perfection Nice seating at an open fire place. Friendly owners and fast service.

Brilliant place. The couple who run it are really friendly and happy to discuss the food and offer suggestions. We had venison burger, cajun chicken wrap and shared chips. Portion sizes are big and the food is delicious. The chips are great - much better than those served at Talla Na Marra. I've never seen a wrap wrapped the way it was - more like a crepe, but there was lots of chicken on it as well as cheese, onions and salad. Really tasty. Venison burger was huge and melt in the mouth. Add 2 cans of pop and it came to less than £20 for a filling, hot, tasty meal. Couldn't recommend Island Bites more highly.

We came off the ferry and needed a cuppa so went into The Rock. We had drinks and I had a nice slice of old school cake with the hundreds and thousands all over it. It was light and soft and just what was needed. Our guide dog pup Oscar caused a little stir with lots of people as although he is only 9 months old he is massive but he is really well behaved and enjoyed when he was served a bowl of water. Staff are nice polite and helpful. The place was constantly being cleaned by the waitress and as said the good was good. Great experience for us and the dog. Thanks

Nice fish and chip shop in Rothesay. Visited here a couple of times during my stay. Good options on the menu - including gluten free and vegetarian options. Chips were good - a little dry but curry sauce was lovely. Reasonably priced as well. Not visited the restaurant part but the takeaway was good and brilliant service. Will return.

A bit of a problem here for disabled people ! Set back from main footpath plus parking restrictions !! Theres a step to gain entrance so its not wheelchair accessible . Cant fault the service tho

The people behind the counter couldn't seem less interested in taking your order. I think I had to speak to 3 people, repeating my order to each, until one of them bothered to write it down They charged me full amount, but only gave me 2/3rds of the food (which I discovered when home). Charlatans

Ordered online took over 2 hours to arrive was cold wast of money waste of money
