The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

Pre ordered a delivery from their website, as a treat for my daughters birthday, only for the delivery to be cancelled 10 minutes before time. When I phoned up the shop to ask why it had been cancelled I was told that they do not take orders through the website, even though I had a confirmation email to say that my order was placed. I was then refused my order (I gave them my order number and what I had ordered) and was told that my refund would take up to 5 working days. Will not be ordering from here again. Terrible customer service and the website should not be taking money from people's accounts and sending confirmation emails if you can't order this way

Absolutely disgusted! We went in today and ordered some chips as a treat for us all to share..only to find a spider in our chips!! We were so disgusted that we couldn’t finish our chips and they ended up in the bin.

It’s been 2 months since this happened And I am still so worked up about it, It’s made me so nervous when eating out with my son and has gave me awful anxiety.. Two months ago I was given what I was told a vegan pasty My son who has allergies ate half of the pasty before he started to have a severe allergic reaction where I had to drive him to a&e as fast as I could because he was screaming in pain. When I visited the store the next day I confronted the women who served me who went on to say she thought vegan And vegetarian were the same Thing and she didn’t realise how serious allergies were. WHEN ARE ALLERGIES GOING TO BE TOOK SERIOUSLY RETRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!! It’s a matter of life and death and you have careless people working with food. Absolutely shocking. MORE AWARENESS MORE NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!

OK food, quality was reasonable, but the cost is way to much! The price of chips is ridiculous especially for the amount you get. Portions are miniature. I seriously won;t be back , its worth driving elsewhere, irrespective of travel costs just to ensure you get better value for money! They should value their customers and not rob them! .

Gave them another go after an awful takeaway since them re opening recently and the same tasteless crap as before! Really gone down hill which is a shame but won’t be wasting money here anymore! Absolutely disgusting food

First place is a local fish and chip shop we visited many times over the past 20 years. During that time it has been operated by various different owners/managers with varying degrees of tastiness and efficiency. Today we were pleasantly surprised to see the new owners and requested our usual fish, chips and mushy peas. We always ask for small portions, but we really couldn’t have eaten anymore of this delicious food. In the terminology of an old TV advert from many years ago, the food looked good, tasted good and my goodness it went down well.

Could possibly be the worst Chicken Fillet Burger I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely nothing like the image, absolutely no batter or crisp, essentially just a bad tasting chicken patty - ‘bland’ would’ve been better. Chicken wings weren’t bad, but not great (nice crisp to it, to be fair). Service was good but cash only and a bit pricey considering Dixy is just next door and genuinely 10x as good. Only went came here to try it and I definitely won’t be going back - waste of money, unfortunately.

Ordered 1hour and 10 mins no notification being late will not order again. Don't expect to wait that long when just down the road

I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a chip shop ever. Eerie silences and being stared at by 3 members or this family run business. Not welcoming at all.

When I ask for contactless delivery,I don't expect relentless knocking and refusing to leave it on the door step until I've opened the door. Absolutely pointless offering if you're not going to stand by it. Last time I order if you can't get simple instructions right. Food order was wrong as well.

Really good fish and chips that is the closest to our home. Rather pricey, however what isn’t these days?! Good selection of drinks too and the curry sauce really is cracking from here!

A portion of chips was £4. This was disgusting and extortionate. I feel sick even writing this and I will never be shopping here again even thought it is in a convenient location.

We stopped by Joe & The Juice to grab few smoothies. I wish they can use more fresh ingredients but ver all a good place to grab drinks.
