Really good fish and chips that is the closest to our home. Rather pricey, however what isn’t these days?! Good selection of drinks too and the curry sauce really is cracking from here!

Our preferred chippie was closed (Baxter’s Sutton Bridge, worth the 15 mile round trip). Thought Nick’s was worth a try but what a mistake. The cod, fried to order, was about 6mm thick and 40mm wide, heavily disguised in thick batter, the chips dry. Never again!

don’t expect an apology when they mess up your order or offer a refund for having to drive back and get the correct item you ordered i think they forget no customers no business

Popped in and ordered large Haddock n Chips. Guy who served me was a good chap, freshly made so was looking forward to it. However.....what was served was an over done Haddock which was very dry. I never complained as I was starving to be fair. A had burnt scraps on top, it's not for me to tell them it's burnt, this should be recognised and should not have been served.
