The best restaurants in Roundhay Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

A brilliant new find with some really different items on the menu. We had a great meal as the service was excellent and the food delicious. It is so nice to find a family run business so committed to their food and service. Thank you so much!

This is a little gem of a place. Great atmosphere, delightful service and really good food. This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back. One of our waiters was Teji who was delightful and took time to describe the amazing sweets that the adjoining premises had to offer! Highly recommended.

We had some wonderfully fresh brown bread sandwiches. Bacon, bacon and sausage, cream cheese bagel. Coffee's, hot chocolates and cokes. Very good service, good quality fresh ingredients, well prepared and served.

Came here for some cocktails. The cocktails were spot on and very cheap! We had a great night here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here!

The cosiest place with food from the Horn of Africa I've been to, but I expected better after checking reviews. Coffee-wise it's 5/5. Ethiopian coffee beans roasted twice a week in store. Food-wise, it was perfectly serviceable but I expected more flavour and bigger servings given the rating/price/location. Not a single dish stood out and I could easily cook a better one at home.

Surprisingly disappointing. Starters were mostly good, but most of us (party of 8) were disappointed with our mains. £23 for a beef teriyaki, supposed to be sirloin but it was riddled with grisle and fat. Some of our dishes had to be sent back as they contained hardly any meat. We won't be going back I'm afraid. You're paying high prices for for the venue, not for the food.

Excellent food, great fresh flavours and a variety of dishes which are different from the mainstream.

Great food, went for a quick lunch and a drink with a few people and all went down amazing. Pizza is perfect, excellent amount of toppings with a fresh tomato sauce, highly recommend this gem! Lovely service and cosy upmarket bar/restaurant vibes, especially to escape the rain.

Had beef stroganoff off special board. Looked like slop wen it came stroganoff should hve thin strips of filet this were more like medallions and very chewy. Also ordered saute potatoes could have done with being cooked more or broened off and veg. Main comes with one or the other but i was charged for both. Not as good as it used to be.

such a nice atmosphere, everyone was super friendly and attentive. i went for some food alone which can be scary but i felt comfortable and welcome right away (+ the food was delicious!)

Locally supported all the takeaways that have been in and out of that particular building for over 10+ years now, and never come across someone so rude and arrogant. You are meant to connect with your customers and provide a friendly service. Countless amount of times i have been in that shop, to feel like they are being dismissive. The food is ok, but how on earth they charge nearly £3 for 2-3 dips baffles me, it should be complimentary. You are meant to look after your locals. When i asked for sauces to be put on my food instead of paying ridiculous prices for dips, they made it sound like it was physically impossible and cant be done. Absolute shocking behaviour!
