House of Koko - Oakwood in Leeds

Really nice brunch here and service was great. I had the Lebanese Eggs and would definitely order again, I loved my meal! Coffee was really nice as well and the service was very attentive.

Nice food, beautifully plated. Really, really nice staff - unusually nice mint tea.

Lovely experience here at this location. Staff are hardworking and warm. Food was amazing. We had some eggs with hash browns and mushrooms and the merguez hash. We got some coffee and a chai as well. So good! Will be trying their other location soon. What a gem!

I love the ambience of this place. The food is nice and the coffee/ tea is good. Service is always friendly and prompt. Great place to catch up with people on a chilled weekend morning.

House of koko is the perfect setting for a light bite. Breakfast brunch or just a coffee and cake. The menu is very tasty and ideal for something indulgent or something healthier. The staff are also great at catering to your dietary needs. I'm a non meat eater and the menu has plenty of options. Great atmosphere and good out door space.

Amazing little cafe, good coffee, gluten free cake and dog friendly ☕️🍰🐶 Accidental discovery as I was in the area for work, but it was so good I had to go back a week later! The banoffee cookie slice is hands down the best gluten free cake I’ve ever had, and the staff were absolutely amazing with my dog. Thank you so much, I will be back soon ☺️

The food is good but on the pricey side. Service was lacking. Had to ask for tap water twice before we received it and hash browns came out about 10 mins after the main dish so they'd obviously been forgotten about. Will also always remove a star when places add automatically add a service charge to the bill, 12.5% in this case. This is not America and tipping should not be mandatory. Places have started adding a service charge knowing full well most people will feel too awkward to ask for it to be taken off. There's also no way the servers actually see any of this service charge as it goes directly into the bank account of the business with no way to ring fence the amounts received as a service charge. Just another way for greedy owners to rip us off.

Excellent. Dropped in on a busy Saturday at 11. Got seated quickly. We had Lebanese eggs and salmon eggs benedict plus hash browns (seriously order them). The food came out quickly and was excellent. Did I mention the hash browns? Coffee was good. Really enjoyed it and will be coming back.

I chose this restaurant for a business meeting today as it's not only a classy place to meet up, it's also very inviting in appearance and has a relaxed feel about it. I had a pleasant time here thanks to the staff who went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. Warm, welcoming and friendly sums it up.

The food is amazing the menu is very well put together. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet coffee alone or meeting up with friends. I'm not always eating meat or cheese and they were extremely flexible and adapted some items on the menu to suit.

I popped in for a quick coffee and cake. The flat white was so good I had to order a second one. I feel not a lot of places can do a good flat white, but Koko make a great tasting coffee. There is a good selection of cakes, I had the lovely Biscoff cookie. Staff were friendly and the cafe had a good vibe.

Don’t bother going anywhere else for brunch in Leeds, house of koko is the only place worth visiting!

Food was amazing and the house aesthetics was quite a cosy vibe! We had the Mediterranean Fritters which were delicious. Also I don’t know what they do with their hash browns but they were the best I’ve ever tasted. Honestly blew my mind

This cafe is excellent. High standard food over Roundhay Park way! If you fancy a light bite theres plenty of nice options, although I did notice the big stack of pancakes with amazing toppings. Will have to try next time. I had eggs benedict with smoked salmon. It was beautifully seasoned, oozing with that hollandaise sauce. We also got a side of hash browns and they were nice and crispy with a little seasoning, Lovely! Will be returning.

We went on a cold wet sunday after being out in the park with our granddaughter,they made us so welcome,the granddaughter was playing up as she was cold and hungry,they came over to chat the her gave her books,pencils etc...

Top tier place to stop by if you're in Oakwood.

Don’t usually have breakfast out a lot so this was a treat, the waitress was friendly and helpful. My hot chocolate arrived and wasn’t very hot, it seemed like it had been made first and left to the side, it was also abit bland. The pancakes were also like warm, like they had been premade and left to the side, they were nice but I’ve had better. The total bill was on the expensive side with an added service charge - don’t think I’ll rush back.

I had an excellent breakfast here. The Aloo Tikki Plate with a poached egg was tasty and a little spicy! It's quite an adventure having a spicy breakfast but it was excellent. The coffee was really great, too. I chose an Americano with milk.

Portions were a bit small and coffee is okay.

Inviting cafe with excellent service and delicious food! 🙌 However, I felt a bit hurried, and the atmosphere inside was more bustling than serene and leisurely. 😌 But I suppose that's par for the course during a Sunday lunchtime! 🤣

White choc mocha hot is pretty good That being said, the iced version was absolutely awful, chocolate not dissolved and clumpy. Threw it away and made a mental note not to get that again. Found the barista quite standoffish

Love House of Koko for weekend brunch. Food is always delicious, especially the Turkish eggs. Coffee is great and there is a lovely selection of pastries / brownies ect. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, one of my favourite local spots!

This place quickly became our go to spot to find good coffee and great breakfast during our 2 weeks visit to Leeds. Everyone there was very friendly, and the food are fresh and delicious. It feels healthy too, which was a bonus.

everyone was so lovely and not only was the halal lamb sausage scrumptious the meals overall were delicious and flavourful

Came for brunch with my partner and a friend. The place was busy but we only needed to wait 10 minutes for a table. House of Koko is also dog friendly which is massive bonus. We ordered the merguez shakshuka, wild mushroom eggs benny (x2) and the loaded hash browns. We also ordered coffee. Food and drinks arrived in a timely manner and tasted amazing! The service was great and they were super friendly. Loved the decor, gave a chilled, relaxed vibe. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly service, dog friendly which is always plus. People who have issues with dog friendly restaurants have plenty of other options, so should stop complaining and go somewhere else that doesn’t allow dogs. Service was a little slow on the food side but they apologised which is all you can ask.

It was a really busy Sunday afternoon & we had promised my nephew a stack of pancakes for his birthday! The chapel allerton branch was jam packed with people already waiting outside, so we phoned this one to ask if they by any chance could squeeze 7 in. They were really busy & advised we could come & wait. So we were deliberating options as a family when they called us right back & offered a table for 7 if we come now! We were a 10 min drive away, set off immediately & good enough there was our table when we arrived. All had an amazing lunch, especially my nephew who had all of the pancake toppings I think! We are a mixed bunch of vegans and non, all were catered for with the stack of pancakes also being vegan! Staff were lovely, food was amazing! Would definitely recommend & go again. Oh & the decaf coffee was yummy too!! Everyone was really pleased. Thank you

Very good. The front of house guy is very pleasant and makes you feel at home. I had a sausage sandwich on a brioche bun which was nice. The staff all seem friendly. What more do you want?

Cosy cafe nestled in the heart of Oakwood. I’ve visited this place a handful of times for breakfast and lunch and it’s always a top notch experience. Staff are friendly, chefs know how to make a cracking breakfast and the ambience is always on point. Has a nice trendy vibe to it and the music is always at a good level. If you like restaurant quality food this is the place to come. They have a wide range of dishes (the pancakes are brilliant) which are always presented beautifully.

Bustling cafe. Reasonable menu. Quality of our salmon with hollandaise on bread was good. Felt chilled and un rushed. 1 star off as the cooking smells permeate in to the seating area. Needs better extraction.

We just had coffee and cake but it was lovely. They did me a split shot flat white too without even a flicker of disapproval. We saw the sandwiches go past and they looked great.

A lovely little place for brunch :) Thoroughly enjoyed our visit with the kids before a bike ride in roundhay park - staff was lovely and my eggs royale was exceptional! The poached eggs were perfect and the hollandaise sauce was delicious.

Friendly staff. Start off with the positive. Took 30 mins to arrive. When it eventually did arrive, it arrived cold and hard. £31.50 for a breakfast that was cold hard and took forever to come.

We had an epic brunch at House of Koko this weekend. Staff were really thoughtful and attentive, and particularly helpful with making space for a pram and baby for our family. Food was sensational and coffee was sweet and smooth. All 6 of us loved it. You've gotta try the loaded hash browns too by the way! :)

Had a lovely impromptu brunch here with a friend earlier today following do walk. Very handy as they're extremely dog friendly and gave my pooch the VIP treatment. Actually just went for coffee but the food looked too good to miss - Lebanese Avocado was amazing with a side of Halloumi. Lovely staff too.

Epic local find - had only had a takeaway coffee from here but popped back for food. They have a great breakfast/brunch menu, we didn’t try the cakes but everything coming out of the kitchen looked fab. Nice staff, friendly atmosphere. We had the Turkish eggs and avo toast. Will be back!

Had an amazing Reuben sandwich today after trying the newest house of koko for the first time. It was the best sandwich I’ve eaten in a long time and nice to be able to see the food being made in the kitchen. Service was great too - good job guys !

What a great way to end an enjoyable long walk around Roundhay Park. The drinks were great, the cakes fantastic, all served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, I can not think of a better way to end our day out. I would highly recommend a visit.

I think I found my new local coffee shop. Koko is a welcoming & friendly spot with a fantastic menu. I had Turkish scrambled eggs which were astronomical. My friend had the scrambled tofu which she said was delicious & nicely spiced. We didn't try any cake as we were too full but they looked inviting so a trip back is on the cards. Highly recommend
