Best restaurant in North Leeds Superb value, food and amazing service.

Incredibly rude. That's just the start. We felt so unwelcome. The main Waiter was absolutely crazy.

We went with friends who had eaten here before. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is excellent. We will definitely return. Thank you for a superb experience.

We had been meaning to visit this restaurant for some time. How we wish that we had done! The service was just right. A second sense as to exactly when you needed another drink! Not rushed to order. Excellent choices on the full menu, complicated by further excellent chalkboard suggestions. Really must go back as soon as possible, but I do recommend to book well in advance as it was full, on a Thursday night. In itself a positive recommendation. I really must mention the steak in my tournedos Rossini. I have never had one so perfectly cooked, medium rare, with exactly the same amount of cooking on both sides, and succulent beyond belief!

We live locally but have never tried this restaurant. We have been missing out and this will become our local favourite. The prices are very reasonable. The owner and staff are friendly with impeccable service. All three courses were superb and the bill was a pleasant surprise at the end of the meal. Thank you and we will see you again soon xx

Honestly worth a visit. 100% recommend. Cannot fault them for anything. Food came out quickly and it was so delicious. If you pay a visit definitely try their specials. The staff looked after everyone impeccably and took care of our every need without fault.

Love our local Mediterranean restaurará y, we’re so lucky to have it on our doorstep. Such a wide range of food available, we’ve never had a bad dish. Wonderful team

Have been to this particular restaurant many times but decided to take our grandkids this time.The staff were so friendly with the kids and went out of their way to look after us.The food is always very good here.Nice view out over the golf course and parking is easy.Unlike some restaurants the tables are well spaced out and the room is normally not too noisy.Well worth a visit.

Delicious food, friendly and cosy atmosphere, i will definitely come here again next time I am in Leeds! i ate Goats cheese wrapped in prosciutto and Cod and salmonfish cake with salsa sauce, however all the dishes at our table were very much enjoyed by all 👍👏👏👏

I have been coming to a dentist a few miles from here for the last 2 years. Usually my appointments are in the morning, but today's was late afternoon. My partner wanted to avoid the rush hour traffic home down the M62 so we looked for a restaurant nearby where we could eat and pass some time. Oh my word - we were lucky! We found La Palmera and we are so happy that we did. This is a beautiful, classy, restaurant on the edge of a golf course with lots of parking and beautiful views. The staff are amazing - so friendly, kind, and helpful, and the food was just out of this world. We had bruschetta and green lipped mussels as starters, and a pasta dish and seafood risotto for mains. Everything was piping hot and delicious and it was a really nice experience. From now on I won't be booking any morning appointments at my dentist's! Many thanks for a wonderful meal.

Wow. Tiramisu was absolutely lovely! Cannelloni was amazin! Italiana was perfectly crispy and flavoursome. servers were extremely friendly and extremely receptive! Would recommend ti 10 friends

Ate here last night with my husband. I'm a repeat diner but it was his first time. Unfortunately our table was delayed due to a previous group over running, the staff were so applogetic and brought complimentary olives and feta when we were seated. I really enjoyed my seafood risotto, full of lovely prawns, calamari and mussels. My husband also enjoyed his pasta al forno The highlight had to be the shared dessert. OMG the strawberry cheesecake was amazing and the chocolate and orange cake so moist. The limoncello at the end also a nice touch. We will be back 😁

It was my 2nd visit to the place and I am glad that I chose this place to celebrate my birthday with my friends. I and all of my friends loved the food. Besides the scrumptious food and ambience, I appreciate all the staff. They are very polite and friendly.

Came here for my birthday, knowing that the food would be stupendous and I was not dissapointed. I had calamari for starters how could I not. I knew what to expect wow so tasty. Followed by Moroccan Lamb. It fell off the bone and tasted exquisite with the sweet apricots served on the dish wow I can taste it now just by the description.Will definitely be going again.

This is probably the best Italian restaurant in the Leeds area. The food was exceptional from the starter through to the dessert and coffee. Just had an excellent meal here with friends. Food was cooked to perfection and presented well. Staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing and were willing to give advice on ingredients used. Portion sizes ranged from just adequate to generous. Would definitely return.

Seven of us dined at the delightful restaurant last Saturday evening & we were all.very pleased the entire package. Greeting was warm and welcoming. Staff were attentive and of course the meals were rather enjoyable by all. We will definitely revisit even though we live a distance away. I can highly recommend if you like quality and variety. Lovely restaurant! The staff are very friendly and attentive. We visited over the Christmas break for a family meal. We had starters and main dishes which were a good portion size. I had the prawn cocktail to start which was very fresh. Everyone in our group was very complimentary about the food. The waiter suggested a red wine for us to try, it was really nice and different to many red wines we have tried before. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful food and staff, very welcoming atmosphere

First time here but won’t be the last. Friendly prompt service, delicious food and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed everything - sea bass, vegetarian cannelloni, chicken stuffed with mozzarella and beef stroganoff. Lovely crème brûlée too. Lots of parking and a lovely location.

We visited in the 22nd of October for my Grandparents birthdays and sat on table 4 . We had recommendations from friends that this place was great and they lived up to expectations. The service was outstanding from all the staff. Friendly and efficient. The menu and the food was fabulous and well priced. Unfortunately did not get the staff members names as they all deserve mentioning. Complimentary shot with the bill and left feeling full and happy. Will definitely be returning

Great location, beautiful interior and exterior, very spacious with seating inside and out. Plenty to choose from on the food and drinks menu. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Delicious food with an eclectic variety of French, Spanish, Italian and Moroccan dishes on the menu. Wonderful homemade desserts. Excellent customer service by Zaina and Imad, both of whom were friendly and professional and showed attention to detail, as well as care about the quality of the food and the service. Loved the little touch of the limoncello/amaretto ‘digestivo’ after the meal. It was our first time there and we will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

Six of us went for a birthday celebration.La Palerma has a pleasant ambiance.It overlooks the grass of a golf course. The staff were welcoming and helpful.The food was delicious, with a certain 'je ne sais quois. We'll be back !

Myself and my wife visited here last night with two of our friends. We ended up having 3 courses with a round of drinks. The quality of the drinks of offer was great and they had well known brands. The food was outstanding! Full of flavour and taste! The prices are very reasonable as well. Really nice inside the restaurant as its finished off very well. The staff were fantastic as well. We will definitely be returning!

The restaurant was spotless and a hidden little gem, our second time visit and it was amazing, the food was delicious, great portions and priced well, you can tell they make everything fresh daily, the service was excellent, the cakes were delicious, highly recommend a visit to this little gem, we couldn’t finish our food and they kindly packed it for us to take home, this has become my favourite restaurant. Compliments to the chef for his excellent food and the staff for such a great friendly service. We will be back again for sure.

What a find! La Palmera is family run Mediterranean restaurant on edge of Roundhay Park. Just had the most delicious and fresh lunch for two, served by Monica and cooked by her husband. Essential to book here in the evening. Website booking is really easy. Generous portions and happy to accommodate my GF intolerance by tweaking the recipe. I ate my Insalata Caprese and Pollo Pesto without taking a photo but my wife's Grilled Salmon Salad is shown here. We will be back for certain.

This was our first visit to La Palmera, to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Having pre-booked, I was greeted by my name, which was nice and personal, and shown to our table. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The meals were all well received and a fair price for this type of establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time here, didn't feel rushed in anyway, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely return.

La Palmera restaurant at the golf course on Park Lane is set to become a frm favourite of ours. Fabulous food in a beautiful setting and topped off with excellent service. We shared a lobster ravioli to start, perfectly cooked fillet as a main and excellent wines to accompany both. I'd recommend booking as this restaurant will be giving others in the area a run for their money!

Food was very good,however my partner couldn't finish her main so we asked for a container to take it home in,they put the chicken in and not the full portion of roast potatoes that were her favourite,very dissapointed,feel robbed,won't be going again

Fantastic food and the restaurant totally went out of their way for my husband's 60th birthday. They gave him birthday present bottle of wine, a free dessert with a candle and all and happy birthday to him. We were a party of 6 and everything was top class. All enjoyed their food and all said they world come back again.

The restaurant will catch your eye from the moment you park your car. Beautiful deco in a lovely spot. And the best, the food. High quality produce with expert hands to transform it in delicious meals. Service can not be more attentive and welcoming, and all in all a magnifique experience. We will repeat without a doubt! I'd been looking forward to trying La Palmera and it didn't disappoint. Took the family and we had a great night. I had the pate to start followed by the steak bordelaise and both were superb. The portions are also generous, which makes a nice change and the Malbec was one of the best I've had. The only slight downside was that they would only take tips in cash, and who uses cash these days? They need to get that sorted out as the service was spot on and I felt uncomfortable not being able to leave one. All in all though, it was very impressive.

Desperately trying too hard against its golfing backdrop this restaurants middle.of the road quality food and appearance didn't do it for me.
