Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea here today! Greeted by friendly smiling student staff, the setting was lovely too! Also, a big shout out too for the college students who made the food for us to enjoy - it was delicious 😋 Will definitely visit again

Friendly welcoming staff, good range of vegan options, soya milk available for coffee, pleasant place to sit, inside an interesting museum

This lovely local pub is just fantastic! Great beer and traditional pub grub - we booked for a large family group for a birthday and from the first point of contact to the end of the evening was just excellent. We submitted our orders prior to arrival and paid deposits for each person, when we arrived the tables were laid and the restaurant was warm, comfortable and well presented. There were sufficient staff who provided us with excellent service throughout the evening. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! All 18 members of the party, including children thoroughly enjoyed their food and commented how good it was. DEFINIETLY will return.

Lush breakfasts, reasonably priced and lovely staff. Can't fault the place :-)

Great local pub and great atmosphere. Good selection of drink and dog friendly. Didn't have any food so can't comment. Definitely be back when in the area.

On the 27th of August 2024. After my wife's final journey. We went back to the Cwmdare Club for refreshments. And I can say. The service and buffet was outstanding. Done to perfection. It made my wife's final journey. A total success. Many thanks to all the staff. And to the lady who organised the buffet. From all the Family. Much appreciated. ☘️❣️☘️

Wow! Group of 12 today for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. Large group but everything was correct, food hot and delicious and cake super quick. Those that had desserts said they were lovely. Will be back

Absolutely stunning food and brilliant service! I could not recommend this place enough I’m so glad we found this hidden gem! We had hunters chicken and duck both fell apart and so tasty. We will be returning very soon ☺️

This has been our favourite Takeaway for quite some time and always had great food every weekend from here. Except tonight, whilst eating my food find a long black hair strand in it, needless to say, my food went straight in the bin, absolutely disgusting 🤮

Lovely cafe to enjoy some food or a drink before or after a walk around the country park. Although we visited in August during the peak of Summer, we had a pleasant time and there wasn't much disruption with children running around etc. There was a small play area just outside the cafe for children to blow off some steam while parents enjoy a drink in the cafe knowing the children are not too far. Fantastic cafe with friendly staff.

Lovely portion size, we had fish and chips, really chip shop chips cooked to perfection 👌 if I were critical, the shop front needs a tidy up, but don't let that put you off the food was lovely
